Why was Camarillo catch not a TD

No one touched him on that crazy catch, I don't understand. Sorry if been answered already.

The one he caught on his legs and held it there. No one laid a hand on him

they ruled the play dead . . . and I can't honestly blame the ref, it was a freakish catch and I thought it was incomplete and honestly, they could have ruled it inconclusive on the replay.

Sure it would have been wonderful if they let it play out and Camarillo got up and scored, but it didn't work that way.

that would've been cool.. but it was camarillo so undoubtibly a DB would have caught him before he scored.

Thats bs, why should the player and the whole team be penalized because the ref blows it. They need to change that rule. I would love to ask the referee head official of the league how this can not be a td. I was screaming at the tv for camarillo to get up and run and so were all the players on the sideline. What a joke. I am still pissed

with all the crap that played out yesterday for us, this should be the last thing that pissed you off... it was a freak play, they reviewed it and gave us the catch... that kind of crap happens... you cant give him a TD because the refs blew the whistle, not a big deal, theres plenty of other crap to be pissed about from yesterday...

Yep..

I'm looking at the team as a whole, and sure a win is a win, but we didn't deserve to win yesterday, we deserved to get shutout and embarrassed because that is what our play warranted. Hell Sparano wasn't even going to challenge until the coaches probably seen a replay upstairs . . . and even still they probably weren't sure when they challenged it.

Yea, best case scenario is that the ref doesn't blow that dead and Camarillo runs for a TD . . . still doesn't take away the fact that we played bad.

Inconclusive? Are you ****ing kidding me? On the replay you could see a good foot and a half of room between the lowest point of the ball and the ground.

Replay was pretty dang conclusive. Actually we're quite lucky they had a good angle on it where you could actually see space between the ground and ball at all times during the catch. If that angle wasn't there it would definitely be ruled as called.

If the ref hadn't blown the whistle the Atlanta defenders most likely would have touched him down anyway.
