Sorry guys, just copy this in your browser address bar and take a read at what Spielman had to say last year. Especially check out the part where he says Fiedler is statistically on par with Favre if you take away some interceptions.

This is a complete moronic statement. Heck, if you take away some of my bills I have to pay every month, I am rich. If you take away a few dollars per gallon of gas and gas is cheap. You guys and gals get the idea!!!!!!

Just wanted those of you who hadn't read this to know what we were up against last year as far as management goes.

and Feeley is on par with Fiedler if you take away some interceptions.

thus spins the QB food-chain.

Sorry read it again, it clearly states that Feeley is on par with Favre Delhomme, etc.....

EDIT:

``I think Dave has stated we feel more comfortable with A.J. now than we did when we first got him, and if you look at his stats -- if stacked up against some of the younger guys that have moved teams when Brunell went to Jacksonville, with Matt Hasselbeck [to Seattle], I even looked at Brett Favre, I looked at [Jake] Delhomme last year -- and statistically take away some of the interceptions, he was as good if not better than most of those guys.''

And how about the Lamar Gordon trade? What a find THAT was! We gave up a 3rd round pick (which could have been turned into a QB this year) and it looks like he'll either get cut or we might be lucky to get a 6th round pick for him from PHilly!

you said Fiedler in your first post, then Feeley in your second. which is it?

God, after reading that I further hope that one of our division rivals signs Speilman as a scout or front office guy. What a schmuck

NOw I understand the mind of Rick Spielman, and if they were on par with Favre i his mind then by god they are Brett Favre and now I see why Feeley was worth a 2nd rounder. Thanks Spielman and good luck on the unemployment line cause you;ll probably be there a while.

Take away a few more brain cells and Spielman is almost as smart as Wannstedt
