Why we SUCK 2014

So Stephen Ross is a poltergeist? That explains so much.

I heard from my buddy yesterday that barry Jackson reported that Matthews wants a trade.

if true, that is a strong indicator of how the players are turning.

Mathews is a physical WR with lots of potential, Hartline can't brake a tackle, even if it is a Kicker or a punter tackling him. Trading Mathews would be a mistake. I would like to see what can we do if we play him instead of Hartline.

This thread could be on repeat 'Why we suck 2015', 'Why we suck 2016' or 'Why we suck 2017'. The reality is more just why does this organisation suck per se ?

We just never seem to follow conventional wisdom nor practice. We lumber ourselves with an awful GM for years and he's untouchable despite the obvious failures of his coaching choices. He's allowed to pick a QB in the 1st a couple of years before he loses his job. We bring in another GM but he cannot choose his coach because he's lumbered with the previous GM's choice. He's told to build a team for the previous GM's coach. When this fails, that GM won't be blamed and will presumably be kept on but with a new coach, who will likely want to build a new team in his image, making the players the GM brought in a year earlier, whether via draft or FA, almost redundant. It's a constant, consistent and avoidable balls up of immense proportions. We never clean house. We seem allergic to the idea of it. Bring in a new GM, who picks his coach, who drafts his QB. Give them 3 years. If it doesn't work, same process again....and again.....and again. You do this until it damn works. It may take a while but the simple truth is it'll take a hell of a lot longer following the ridiculous processes we currently follow.

Bored damn ****less of mediocrity. We are irrelevant. False dawn after false dawn. Open the season with a win over the Pats and then lose at Buffalo and the Chiefs at home ? Sorry, I'm out.

We have been here before ...matter of fact this is where we as Fins fan always are season after season. QB struggles...FH forum gets mean...Team loses 3-4 in a row...Coaches seat gets hot...miss playoffs...time to tear it down in offseason so the fabled 8 - 8 record can possibility be accomplished the next.

The point? We know what this is and have lived this groundhog season for many years so as a fan you accept it...Its who the Miami Dolphins franchise is at its very core.

The cure? Play fantasy FB and enjoy the NFL. Pick Andy Luck as your QB,AJ Green as your WR & Lynch as your RB then sit back and smirk as another floater hits the dirt as the clock runs out on the Aqua & Orange remembering the glory days.

And Honestly (& if I may) "Dude"
When you feel that urge to be positive...watch the Seahawks,Broncos and even 2nd tier teams such as the Saints & Eagles ball this weekend...the Fins are not even close to the required intensity level of a true NFL contender.

Thanks Dude! You are right. The Dolphins for a Decade plus are my guilty pleasure, its like watching a bad soap opera, just see last year. We really need new ownership and leadership. Joe Robbie must be turning over in his grave with this nonsense we call the Miami Dolphins post 1999. I hate Sun Life Stadium its a Joke too.

1. Owner - Stephen Ross. How is this Dude a Billionaire? He is unable to close any deal. Whiffed on Harbaugh, Fisher, Manning, and a new Stadium. Looks like Mr. Magoo and is more concerned with the Orange Carpet and loyalty to the likes of Jeff Ireland and Dawn Aponte. It all trickles down from here. The Fins might not be right again until we get a first class owner with stones.

2. Coach - Joe Philbin. This Dude is so in over his head. Game management, Clock management. Unable to motivate the Troops the last two weeks last of season and since last season we have lost 4 out of 5. Cant think of anything he does well? Wait if picking up gum wrappers led to victories we may be 3-0 right now. Dude is so incompetent he makes Cam Cameron look good, and me miss Tony Sporano. I feel like Joe will be remembered only for the Incognito/Martin incident and handling of it, not his losing record.

3. QB - Ryan Tannehill. We all thought this was the golden boy post Marino. Forget it. No pocket awareness, takes too many sacks, can't run, slow reads, can't make steak out of crap. He simply does not have "it". We missed out on Brees twice, Matty Ice, Foles, Wilson, Cousins, all who are better straight up. Tannehill in 2014 is the 29th rated QB. 3 bad games in a row, and going back to last season 5 bad games in a row. One positive, hot wife. Ill miss her yoga pants next season.

4. RB - Daniel Thomas. How the hell is this Dude on this team. This dude is like Crabs that never go away. He gives you Nothing. Nothing. Nothing. Nada. Unless you like poor decision making (see yesterdays game not getting out of bounds) fumbles and a career 3.6 avg. Get rid of this bum. I nearly spit out my beer when I saw him in the game yesterday. Why the F not use Damien Williams who actually has upside? See 2

"It's good to have Daniel Thomas back," head coach Joe Philbin said. "He's been a valuable member of the club for the last couple of years and he looks to be in good shape.

What the heck is Philbin smoking? I want some.

6. LB - Jason Trusnik. How the heck is this Dude starting? And how is he a captain. He sucks. Just think if Ellerbee and Misi did not get hurt we never would have seen Jenkins, who is far superior to both. Get Chris McCain in there. Play the best player, something the Fins never do.

7. Really tired of sucking for so long. See you in London.

Jason Trusnik is starting b/c a lot of injuries are ravaging the LB core. Not every team has all-star 4th string LBs. Daniel Thomas is back b/c of injury too.
