Just wonderung why we have such a hard schedule this year, I thought your schedule is the result of your record the year before,. What gives :confused:
 
The new NFL scheduling system means that record has very little to do with it. You get 2 games against each in-division opponent. Then 4 games against one AFC division and one NFC division. That's 14 games that are pre-determined.

Then you get two more games according to your place in your division against the other two AFC teams that finished in that same place in your division. So really, there are only 2 games affected by your record. Make sense now?
 
We play in the best division in football...can't really do anything about it...we have to play NE, NYJ and Buffalo each twice.
 
Our division + the AFC in general being superior to the lamo NFC.

That's just the way the cookie crumbled this year. THey didn't do it to spite us or anything. NFL schedule's are set on certain divisions playing certain other divisions from year to year. THis year, we play the whole AFC WEST (which just happens to be pretty dam good) as opposed to lastyear, we played the AFC NORTH (was it?)...and the NFC WEST. THis year it's the AFC WEST and the NFC SOUTH. I suppose that next year that'll leave us against the AFC SOUTH and the NFC North. COnfusing already?
 
The schedule is done totally different now since they went to 4 divisions in each conference. Its pretty much set in stone regardless of how you do the year before.
 
I've never had a problem with any schedule. If you want to win a Superbowl then you have to be able to beat everybody.
