Widcat Wins again, My Opinion anyways

The Jets geared up to expose and stop the wildcat, the only problem is they didn't show up to stop the Miami Dolphins. The Dolphins are a team (offense, defense & special teams), I call this a reverse win for the wildcat, the wildcat worked as a decoy for the rest of the team to make some plays (more wildcat trickery if you will), the Jets simply didn't prepare to play the whole team.

I'm pretty sure the Jets coaching staff spent numerous hours studying the wildcat and how they were going to stop it.

Well, the wildcat didn't show up and you can say those numerous hours were spent on nothing when they could have been preparing for special teams.

It's a mind game and Rex Ryan is alway one step behind.

Agreed Rex Ryan let his ego get away from himself! He was so hell bent on stopping the Wildcat he neglected another aspect of the game!

We won because Ted Ginn returned two kicks for touchdowns. I'm not so sure that this was because they prepared for the wildcat.

i agree. that and the defensive touchedown. sure, miami didn't run out of the cat that often, but they also stopped miami's base offense. Miami defense also allowed 3 consecutive drives for touchdowns. Ginn saved Miami this time.
