Wide receiver Quincy Morgan cut!!

It just seems like anytime a guy is cut people on this board want him in a Dolphins uniform. It wouldnt be so bad if it was a player who has proven himself in the NFL but Quincy Morgan? Get the **** out of here with that. He couldnt make it with the Browns or the Cowboys, enough said. Add to that the fact that he was cut to make room for Peerless Price. What a joke.

I can completely understand "hoping" that he becomes something and contributes and I cant blame you. But it just seems like everytime a team signs someone the fans think the guy is going to come in and be the next somebody.

This does not only apply to Finheaven, we have this problem on the Range sometimes too. It simply makes no sense.

If it was a seasoned verteran I could understand you getting pumped up about it but this guy is a fourth rounder who got cut from a Pitt. team who is HURTING bad for WR's right now.

And just the fact that he got cut as a rookie after being drafted in the fourth should be a flag. Kind of like Clarett.

I am starting to sound like a broken record defending us.. but here it goes again... NOBODY IS REACTING IN THE WAY YOU DESCRIBE! We all agree he is a great addition, since we gave up nothing, and basically acquired a 4th round pick from this year who has the natural abilities and just needs some coaching. We are always looking to add young players at any position, just like any team, whether we are in it to win now or in the future.

but he was signed to the practice squad. The guy doesn't even take up a roster spot. I just don't see how anyone can bag that much on that pick up. Then again I don't really see how anyone can get that excited for someone on the practice squad

Part of it is that he is not expected to come in and play right now, he is on the practice squad. Pittsburgh wanted to put him on their practice squad so they must feel that he has some future potential. So I don't think anybod here is excited about his contributions this year but more as a player that could turn out to be good once he has some time in the NFL.

No your a bills fan. There are 'some' good Bills fans around here. You aren't one. Seriously trying to find one positive comment from you in your entire history here is like trying to find Madonna's virginity.

i think u r very wrong with that statement. gibson will b a good wr. he just needs time. some people take a LITTLE longer to adjust. i think with his size 6'4,he will b a threat every time in the red zone. pittburgh times even said when he came in the last 2 pre-season game gibson started to get comfortable and do really well. we got a steal with gibson + eckel for the future.too bad buffalo isn't that quick too jump on that!!!!! :goof:
