...Lots of good players left...

Chris Givens, Juron Criner, Joe Adams, Marvin McNutt and Greg Childs are all just as good as the 2nd round guys.

Outside of Blackmon and Floyd there are no #1 guys anyways. Philbin said there is no such thing as a #1 guy in his offense anyway. Agree or disagree, but that is his philo.

We reached for a lb/de with off the field issues projected to go in the 5th round instead of drafting a wr.Philbin i thought you knew what you were doing???

While I've seen mocks with Vernon in the 5th, most of the sharp draft gurus had Vernon in the 2nd. And he DOESN'T have any off-field issues. He's a good kid.

Tommy Streeter or TY Hilton next round? If it's streeter i'd imagine they expect him to start, and if it's hilton i would guess they are expecting Clyde Gates to start this year.

I dont get it... So what do we do at WR now? With no good free agents left, and likely no 4th+ rounder will become a number 1, wth do we do at WR? We currently have one of the worst WR core in the NFL, but at least we have 12 tight ends..

It appears to be confusing, but this offense won't need a true #1 WR. Look at the GB WRs, they are good. Driver, Nelson, Jennings all good receivers, but none of them are #1 WR. Nelson is #3 and the other two are #2's...now they are very, very productive, but in any vertical offense, they'd be much less productive...

So we dont need a starting RT ( line gave up how many sacks?), DE ( who is rushing the passer besides Wake), TE ( seam buster), or QB? Deep WR man... relax.
omg please our right tackle was the worst in the league and in highschool

Givens, Streeter, Toon, Hylton, Marvin Jones, etc...

You're joking if you think Jennings isn't a #1

Now that HOU has drafted another WR we should trade a late round pick for Jacoby Jones.

I agree with you 100% I think you misunderstood my post or maybe I stated it poorly. I know we needed a RT and I like the pick.

all of the above mentioned players have been linked to Miami. I'm not worried bout the WR yet. I think round 4 and maybe round 5 again!!!

I was ok with us not drafting a WR within our first 3 pick, but taking Egnew with our other 3rd rounder and passing on Sanu or another WR is pissing me off. Year after year we sit by and watch our FO draft butloads of LB, and linemen and never got after skill positions. While NY, Buff, and NE load up on them is BS. We need a good WR, and have for years until Marshall, and we let him got for peanuts, just like we always do. Buy High, and sell LOW. We could have gotten Egnew in the late 4th, or 5th.
