Wide Receiver

This myth that the WCO doesn't require top shelf receiving talent is so thoroughly disproven by history yet it keeps getting more and more popular. Those of you trying to make the case that Jennings isn't a true number 1 are living in a dreamworld. It's very likely the Dolphins were trying to trade up for Randle. They are going to take a WR at some point and will continually look to improve the overall talent.

well miami does have a 4th round pick so they can or might get a WR that falls to them there, as I heard there is some talent at WR that is still falling and Wr is a deep position for this class...so we'll see i guess

I dont get it... So what do we do at WR now? With no good free agents left, and likely no 4th+ rounder will become a number 1, wth do we do at WR? We currently have one of the worst WR core in the NFL, but at least we have 12 tight ends..

WCO offenses are known for making good WRs out of no names .. i like the gamble so far

Sign TO not like you have anything to lose at WR let alone playoffs hopes.

Start him bring hype for the fans still think Streeter will be #1 WR this year 6,5 just lob it to him

and i'd be more mad of miami not getting stephen hill and randle, these are more of the no.1 talent WRS. I think sanu could be a good slot WR but other WRs later are more likely good no.2s or complimentary WRs, miami already has that. Miami needs a no.1 with marshall gone, so I don't care who they missed as far as WR in the 3rd round. I just hope they look good and hard later for the 4th or later rounds with WR and find a gem, and one that could be a top WR where most aren't. You know the next victor Cruz or Stevie Johnson.

Juron Criner and Marvin McNutt are good fits.

While I as much as the next guy wanted to get a number 1 WR, solidify our OL, get a QB to hopefully develop into our awaited QB of the future, get a pass rusher, etc, etc. , but we only have so many picks and considering what we had to work with, they actually did pretty good. Time will tell. They'll try and find someone late in the draft, but worst case scenario, they get one next year either in FA or the draft. We're not going to be contending for the SB this season anyways, so we have a little time to find one.

It appears to be confusing, but this offense won't need a true #1 WR. Look at the GB WRs, they are good. Driver, Nelson, Jennings all good receivers, but none of them are #1 WR. Nelson is #3 and the other two are #2's...now they are very, very productive, but in any vertical offense, they'd be much less productive...

I don't care how you want to spin it
when you score 15 tds and have 1263 yards receiving your a #1 wide receiver

How do you figure we have time. There is no time like the present. It would take in most cases three years for a receiver to develop into a great WR in the NFL. WR is one of the hardest positions to transition from college into the NFL. We needed to draft one sooner in this draft I don't care what you guys say. Look at the Super Bowl Champs the Giants They have Nicks, and Cruz. Do you think they stood pat with their WR, and said were good? No, they we out and drafted another weapon for Eli. I guess this is why they are the Super Bowl Champs, and we have been the Chumps for too many years.
