Wide Receiver

It appears to be confusing, but this offense won't need a true #1 WR. Look at the GB WRs, they are good. Driver, Nelson, Jennings all good receivers, but none of them are #1 WR. Nelson is #3 and the other two are #2's...now they are very, very productive, but in any vertical offense, they'd be much less productive...

Jennings is the #1 he gets the Double teams.

Dolphins have no one to even think about double teaming Revis Could Shut down every WR on team by himself no one can beat the press take it how you want dolphins need a big WR.

lets look at it like this Ted Ginn was a Starter with Hartline & bess in the slot....... Sum it up for you?

Look back to 2008 and 2009 before we had Marshall. We passed for MORE yards without him.

Look over the last two seasons, Marshall caught 9 TDs in two years on 169 receptions.

Over the same two seasons, Anthony Fasano caught 9tds on 72 receptions.

I expect to see a lot of two TE sets this season. I like Bess, Hartline and Gates.

Relax, we are going to be fine.

toon and jones most suited for wco; but a lot of choice there

Um pardon me but you need good hands especially with a WCO. Toon may be a good route runner, but his hands leave much to be desired. Too many drops. We have enough of those kind of WR on our team.

So many holes and only so many picks. Thought Ireland rolled with the draft alright. WR will probably be addressed in the first 2 rounds next year.

Yeah that's the thing that really backs me off of Toon. His hands are terrible. Not to mention he had one of the most accurate QBs in history throwing to him and still managed to have too many drops.

I like Jones and Jarius Wright. Hope we get one in the 4th. I don't think any other WRs left match well with what Philbin is doing and are an upgrade to the current receivers on roster.

I don't care how you want to spin it
when you score 15 tds and have 1263 yards receiving your a #1 wide receiver

I think too much is made of this #1 WR thing. Victor Cruz had 1,536 yds and 9 TD, Wes Welker had 1,569 yds and 9 TDs, but you're kidding yourself if you think either one will make a good #1 receiver. What do they all have in common? You guessed it, smart, polished players playing with an elite QB in a WR friendly-offense.

I like Greg Jennings, and think he's a very good, smart WR, who runs good routes and has good hands, but he's not the receiver most make him out to be. Guarantee you put him in a different system, with even a GOOD QB and he's not the Greg Jennings we see in GB. This is not a knock on Jennings the player, just the truth. You think Jordy Nelson puts up 1,263 yds and 15 TDs as the #1 WR in Tampa Bay? Don't kid yourself.

As long as we can get a smart, instinctive receiver who runs good routes and has good hands, we'll be just fine. He doesn't need to be Brandon Marshall.

is joe adams left? he might be interesting for a wco wr....

don't really care too much for wr's tho i don't think anyone can make a difference thats left

also keep in mind Jeff Fuller is still there we MIGHT get him which would make stuff REALLY interesting here in miami.

I like Givens, Childs, and Criner and Marvin Jones as good WR picks still out there. I also think the TE Egnew pick is more important for the WCO and why we had to make that pick first. We pick at #103 and expect a good WR will be there that will can play. Not sure how the WR picked translates to the GB WR counterpart. That should be a clue if we know what type we are targeting, a Jordy Nelson type? or one of the others?

I like Givens and Adams as slot players in the 4th, I also like Wylie. As for perimeter players, I like Childs. I would still like to believe that we may have something in Wallace, but that has yet to be seen.

We really need perimeter WRs. I dont see any left that "wow" me. The middle of the field looks to be packed with Egnew, Clay, Fasano, Bess, Bush all figuring to work the middle of the field.

BTW, one of Tannehill's weaknesses coming into the draft was throwing the in routes in the middle of the field. Look for more help outside.
