Despite visiting with the Saints Friday, free agent Ronald Bartell is reportedly still talking with the Rams.
The Rams are targeting Jason Brown, James Butler, and Bartell as their three big ticket items. Torry Holt and Orlando Pace could be jettisoned for a combined $14 million in cap space if they manage to land all three players

If Terry holt is released Coles Becomes the third best reciever. Im really like this FA period.
 
I'll take Coles, he will already have an advantage in chemistry with Pennington.
 
Not sure Torry Holt has anything left, I don't think anybody gives him serious money...
On that note I really hope WE don't give Coles serious money. I like these kids in the draft, we should focus on bringing in DHB, Nicks or Britt. All three have #1 receiver potential down the line.

Britt or Nicks are the two guys I like in the draft.
 
No offense but DHB will not be available at 25 when we pick
 
Holt will bolt for the Panthers. He will have a deal done within 2 days of his release with the Panthers.
 
That is fine if he bolts to the Panthers my point is the more Wr the less Coles can ask for.
As for Bryant johnson the guy was aFa last year and the Fins did not sniff around him at all.
 
Originally I was thinking I wanted Coles, but then I came to thinking that size wise, he gives us almost the same target that our other 3 guys give us. Camarillo is the tallest of the bunch at 6'1". What we need is a big red zone target and if we draft a guy like Britt and also pick up Coles, who's the odd guy out? Bess is too much of a value, Camarillo just got an extension and Ginn is almost as productive as Coles and a lot younger with a lot more upside. Thoughts?

Torry Holt Marvin Harrison Lavernious Coles the craziest free agent receivers ever available the same year.
 
Amani Toomer is clutch, Coles would be great too.

Either guy can help our core of younge WR's get better with their route
running and all of the little tricks of their trade.

Holt is pretty aggresive personality-wise and may not want to deal with
our Offense or the younger WR's, or Chad's style of QB play.
 
Toomer, Coles, Harrison, TJ and now Holts is being reported to get released. Add the fact that Brylon Edwards might be on the block and I think Miami will be adding a Veteran reciever soon.
