I'm sure it's obvious to most that our WR are very frustrated with the play of Gus. Just look at their reactions after a horribly thrown ball and you can see they aren't happy. I think right now the WR's may be hoping for Sage to start because they're tired of Gus's horrible passes. How much say to you think they have in the matter?

I imagine not much. But if your entire WR core is upset and Randy Mac is ripping the team on the sidelines for the poor offenssive play, maybe you should consider how they feel.

well they want to make plays, they get open, and the ball is so horrible they dont even have a shot. Yeah, that would frustrate anyone.

It's good to hear that they are upset but I hope it doesn't cause a problem on the team if Gus stays in as the starter

But have no fear Stanton will be here next year

i hope saban understands their frustation and decides to makes the right move and benches gus and starts sage.

doesnt all this sound very familiar to last season?

Unfortunately, I don't think Chambers, Booker and Welker are the type of guys to complain. So even if they are visibly frustrated, they most likely don't verbalize their opinions to Saban. Ultimately, it will be up to Saban to decide when Frerotte's ineptness is significant enough to force him to make a change. I think it has already reached that point, but then again that's probably why I'm not the coach. Only Saban knows if Sage will give the team a better chance to win.

Well our receivers are frustrated, as am I... and I'm sure our Coaching Staff is frustrated with our receivers, as Am I...

maybe they would get more ball thrown to them if they caught more than 50% of the ones that hit them in the chest. Yes, Gus is horrible, but the WR deserve no slack they have been droping key ball the entire season. If they would keep some drives going by making a play they may get some more balls. Im as frustrated with the WRs as I am with Gus.

how many of gus' throws have hit anybody in the chest? i am not remembering as many blatant drops as some, yet i am watching the same games. can somebody put together a "lowlight" reel?

No but you are right. In the Chest is not fair. He likes to throw behind receivers and also short. After that it is overthrow/throw away. Most of the dropped balls are "well it wasn't on the money but as a good receiver you should catch that. Even the one tow Chambers (jets game maybe) that was in the numbers - - - was because Chambers sent to his knees - - yet every announcer said he should have caught the "numbers" throw.
