Wife and Kids are making plans to leave Home Sunday :)

I told both her and them both thats a REALLY GOOD IDEA, wife said dont dare throw anything at our 46 inch Samsung HDTV, i said ok, but i do have a tear apart (velcro held together) Dolphin Mascot im sure i will throw at something at some point on Sunday . I think there going to a movie and do some shopping, they can already sense my giddyness about Sundays BIG GAME!!

Since last year, my wife will not stay home on Football Sundays. She and my 3year old daughter leave the house 30 mins before gametime and usually return 30 mins after gametime.

Funny you mentioned this, my wife calls me about 5 mins after the game to tell me congratulations and she was on the way home.

THe conversation went like this:

Ring Ring
Me: Hello
Wife: Congrats
Me:Thanks, what a game!
Wife: It was good though right?
Me: Lets just put it this way, i dont think its a good idea if you leave home anymore on gamedays?
Wife: Why?
Me: One sunday afternoon you are going to come home to a dead husband
Wife: What?
Me: These dolphins are going to give me heartattack one day!
Wife: Oh God!

Me: Hello?
 
omg that is HILLARIOUS, best post i have read on here in a LONG TIME.

My wife and two year old tend to want out of the house gameday as well. My wife knows that yelling/stomping/throwing things is pretty much a given.....and who wants to see a grown man behave that way :)
Although the last two weeks I started a routine of asking my daughter if the Dolphins will win as she leaves the house. She has said yes for each of the last three wins. This week I even asked by how many touchdowns and she said 1!!! I'm almost scared to ask her who is going to win this week:)
Glad to know I'm not the only one who's family would prefer not to be around him during the game because of my passion for the Fins!!!
 
My girlfriend experienced my first Dolphins game last weekend. She is a Patriots fan and ofcourse they are just killing the Cards. She grabbed my labtop and moved to the other couch, I think I almost caught her with an elbow when that 396 pound running back busted that long run on us. She is cool though (for a Pats fan). Ah man, if we play them in the wild card game, I may not be getting any for a while...hehe
 
I love it 67 Stang, dont worry you'll still get some but it may be awhile if the Phins STOMP THE CRAP OUT OF THE PATS if we play them Rd 1 in the playoffs.

Ok I guess in real lucky, on sunday my wife and kids have their fins gear on before I do. And they cheer loud as hell and get pissed off and throw things before I can. I can't be the only one with a finatic family.
 
I am off next Sunday so I will be in front of the tv wearing my Dolphins attire. If anyone interrupts me during the game I will bury them in a snowbank outside
 
I am going to watch the game with about 30 other Phin's fans here in Colorado. I am already nervous for the game and I can't wait for Sunday....it is going to be hard waiting around an extra two hours for this game to start. Win or lose I will be around other Phin's fans and we are going to go through this together. I think it is time for us to play our best all around game of the year, and show them Jets they shouldn't have thrown Chad on the garbage heap.
 
You guys that let your kids go out with your wives should be encouraging them to stay home with you so you could groom them to be future Dolfans.
