Lets see how many different versions of the wild cat we can come up with.

Heres mine:
Ronnie brown taking the snap and instead of ricky williams running to him we have pat white. Maybe not yet because he is not ready to run but when he is we would have much more of a threat with the wild cat.

The threat would be primarily on the pass, and we've seen how shaky Pat is on the pass at the present. I do think he's a bit nervous still though. Eventually White's a running threat but not necessarily from a called run, or a run-pass option. I think he'll do his greatest damage on plays that are pass plays that he decides to pull it up and run on. The protections are set up for the pass, the defense is dropping and making their reads and he finds the pocket open in front of him for a quick 10-15 yard scamper. He's just not built to be a runner by design in the NFL, unless it's of the naked bootleg design. The spread offense is a better play set for him than the Wildcat as he would do a disservice to the set over Ronnie or Ricky or even Thigpen (believe it or not!).

I would like to see Ricky take the direct snap as he comes in motion...I think that'll fool the defense because they will think that Ronnie has the ball, but in reality, Ricky has it. Ronnie goes one way, Ricky goes the other and either runs with it, or hands it off to a reciever or whatnot.

Kind of reminds me of the kickoff stunt where they get in a group and run in different directions and one comes out with the ball. Its a gamble like most of those types of plays, but fun to watch.
