I THINK NOT! Keep chad and white off the field. they are man handling the colts D with the pull guards and the wildcat and i love it. i guess dan henning heard everyone on the board saying RUN THE BALL! WOAH!

my eyes get widder everytime i see ronnie back as the QB. i just love watching them run the wildcat. and the motion is everything with the wildcat. other teams dont use motion and it gets stuffed. the motion throws off the D.

I love them destroying the Colts with the Wildcat right in front of Ron "it's a gimmik" Jaworski

Looking good tonight. Wouldn't mind seeing White line up at WR for some end around with run-throw option.

it's hard to complain because its working but they are running it so much they are giving other teams a lot of film to use to learn to defend it

they ran it what 100 times last season, there is plenty of film already. and they are running the same wildcat plays as last season. nothing to worry about.

And they're definitely not showing anything with Pat White behind the center.

what happened to all that nonsense talk of something big going on / new wrinkles with pat white and the wildcat that they were going to unleash on the nfl soon...

this guy is terrible and they know it.. don't even want him throwing the ball..
time to deactivate him for good..

I think its time to throw that theory out..

Last season, after the first Patriots game when we unleashed it, you are clueless if you think every team Miami played from then on out wasn't watching lots of film on it and working on stopping it. They still couldn't. And I am not counting Baltimore because most peoples regular offenses couldn't work on them, they are just really good on that side of the ball..

The Colts are a great organization with great coaching. They knew they were playing us this year, they have had last season.. all offseason.. and all last week to prepare for the Wildcat. They got absolutely shredded by it tonight.

Some games it may be off, some games it may not. Every team in the NFL isn't going to come up with some magical solution for it. Ronnie can just run it himself, or he can hand it off to Ricky, or he can fake to Ricky and pitch it to Cobbs coming around. Or they can throw out of it.

If you line up in the shotgun with 4 WR's its fairly simple for the defense to have the hint of whats coming. When we line up in the wildcat you have no idea of whats coming, thats why it is effective for us. And even on that point, how many times did we run the wildcat tonight with Chad Pennington on the sidelines? I think almost every time, so its just Ronnie and Ricky and it still confused and abused the Colts defense.

So, I think its time to remove the gimmick title from the wildcat and assuming that every team will stop it this year because they had a chance to prepare. This isn't high school football its the NFL, they were already prepared for it after the Patriots game last season. Its legit, and its going to continue to help us win games.

The wildcat was tailor fit for a poor run defense like Indy's which has smallish players. Kudos for taking useless players off the field.

I bet the Colts won't be calling it a gimmick. It'd be embarassing for them since we ran ALL over them like that, and they go and call it a gimmick.
