Okay guys, so we know the Pats got burnt on the wildcat against us last game. So are they just awfully bad at defending it that we use it often?? are we bringing out some new tricks out of the bag??? using different variations? or not using it at all?? What do you think??

I don't think it will be used as much as it was last time, but I have a feeling we'll see some new trick out of it.

The Fins will use it and it will be very effective. The Jets ran it against them the other day and they got a first down. I won't be surprised if they use it against us too, though.

I also got a feeling we saved a nice variation of this for the Pats! Like maybe Chad catching one, or a similar flea flicker and hitting Cobbs like against Houston!

Funny, I just commented something similar before I saw this thread. Oh well, I'll just quote myself:

Camarillo vs Welker round 2. I can't wait. We know they will be preparing to shut down the Wildcat so I say we don't run it at all. Not even once. They will be thinking "wtf? but we practiced all week...."

Better yet, mess with their heads and line up in the Wildcat and then have Ronnie call an audible and switch the play up on them. Oh there is so much potential with this game. I hope we don't waste it and play conservative.

Well we do seem to play better against better teams! This last 2 weeks didnt help my confidence, but I sure hope it helped the players!!!

depends on if we're in attack or defense mode

i'm thinking the Patriots will over-prepare for it, and the Dolphins are going to show it once or twice then run a completely different play to really scramble them.

I want us to use Ginn in motion as well as Ricky because I've noticed for the past several weeks defenses were crashing the middle. Also, yesterday N. Asomugha immediately left his man(Chad) and went after Ronnie. That right there is a great opportunity for the RB pass. You better believe the cheater will watch that and try to mimic Asomugha's play.

the match for this game is the 2 rookie ILBs and 1 first starter OLB play against all the formation.
Mayo and Guyton both rookie LB and Woods is a first year starter in OLB. throw in the 2 rookie CB/Safety Mike richardson and wheatley with alot of snaps.

i think the injuries are going to be killer as noted the starting defence avg age is 26 the 2 LB are 22 yr olds and 1 OLB is 24 yr old.
