In a press conference at the combine coach Sparano said that "he was definitely surprised at how many teams began running the Wildcat after Miami introduced it".
He also stated that " The Dolphins will be looking for versatile, athletic players that could possibly line up at multiple positions. Although it won't be the focus of their draft, it'll certainly be something they consider."
Finally, he assured that "Miami still has plenty of Wildcat plays in the book that it hasn't run yet"

hopefully this means they'll take a look at Pat White one of the most athletic and versatile guys in this draft class.

i have been a Rutgers fan for 15 years and I really hated losing to Pat and the mountaineers...but id love to see Pat white running the wildcat.

dude if we were to get pat white to run the wild cat now that would be scary. having ronnie and ricky running the reverse routes and we'll have a legitimate threat at throwing the football. and i dont know about ya'll, i mean i love ricky, but i dont like it when he's under the gun for the wildcat.

If we're really serious about it (which I don't know if we are or not), maybe Pat White is actually on our radar.

I think FriendCedarPhin might have something there w/White. If that would happen Beck would be gone & the stable rearranged but still competing, creating some interesting possibilities.

I've called for the Single Wing (WildCat) to be incorporated in our arsenal for years & taken much flack on several different sites for my trouble.

Look for the single wing to shift right to left next year. Shifting the alignment will add yet another complication for NFL defenses to contend with on the playing field. The system adds another unique dynamic to the game & is here to stay. And yes, we willl draft with an eye on the possibilities of the fit. Pat White would be perfect. The system is here, as an alternative & game changer, to stay.

Or Michael Vick. I know everyone is going to hate one me, but I live in Georgia and saw him play. He isn't a QB, but in the wildcat he would be deadly. He is one of the fastest dudes in the NFL and his ability to dodge tacklers is uncanny. I think once he gets back up to speed which won't take long the team that gets him is going to get a steal.

I just hope he gets released and no one trades for him.

I think Michael Vick is just fine right where he is. Worthless dog murderer.

I agree with you, I think Vick would be a plus if we plan on using the wildcat. I dont understand all the hate towards the guy, what he did was wrong, but he payed his price and shouldnt be crucified for it

:err:Just like to clear this up about Vic:
1) Wrong, immoral & illegal are not necessarily synonymous. people all over the world hunt, enjoy **** & pit fights, ExremeFiighting in cages between men, bull fights, etc.
I find this entire line of condemnation both ridiculous & hypocritical, unless of course you're a card carrying member of Pita or a vegetarian or some far left control freak.
2) you might make a issue out of gambling while participating in professional sports, however, most of us have place a wager or two. It's not like he's a child molester, rapist or murderer. I personally don't view Vic as a victim, nor do I see him as a threat to society. He made a bad decision in the game of life, violating one of the current game rules & is paying for it in spades.
3) simple truth both White & Vic would be perfect fits for the WildCat, but @ what price & availability issues are the second end of the equation. Both serious long-shots, at least White is available in the draft.

nobody can predict the future. nobody knows what Parcells knows.

just my humble opinion:D
