Wildcat is Getting Lazy

My favorite back on this team has always been Ricky, but he is obviously not doing his job on the Wildcat. A misdirection offense relies a lot on deception. He has NOT been carrying out his fakes worth a crap the last two games. A great fake in this style of offense is just as good as at least two blocks. Tighten the F^$% up Ricky!!!!

Although I like it at times, I think it is getting a little stale. I just think we need to line up 11 on 11 and physically dominate in our base running offense.

Oh, I think we can. We have an above average o-line. There is no reason why we cant do it. We pushed the Jets Defense all over the place in our first meeting. Jets got the best of us the second game.

Our two games with the Jets are long gone, and our next game not coming up for a year. Why do we still have jets fans trolling this board, especially after a sweep?? It's a gay love affair ; they need us in their lives to be complete. Its kinda creepy.

We can do this, Look at the NO game, and the first Jests game, We can perfectly run the ball as long as we show we can also pass.. Once they put 8 or 9 in the box and blitz the CB we are Doomed with the run..

you ran a ton of wildcat in the first jets game....what are you talking about? the phins problem is they can't do much out of a conventional offensive set.

I really just think we need to give Henne a game and let him know this is your game. Let him play the entire game and try a more conventional Offense. Give him the opportunity to make defenses back off the line by going downfield with the pass.

Maybe.. well hopefully its getting 'lazy' is because we're practicing more traditional sets in practice. That might explain why the Wildcat is going down hill. Over using it in games to get teams to key in on that while we practice our Iform power running only to unleash that sometime this year. Its easier said than done especially with all the drops but let Henne air it out. Do what NE does. Line up with a big formation and send only 3 options down the field. Max protect Henne while giving him some options out there.
