Wildcat may be here to stay

I know alot of people are down on Tebow as a NFL QB, but if this is going to be a permanent part of our offense, he would be a nice fit in the formation.

I, too, have reservations about how Tim will transition to the Pros. Always lining up in the Shotgun really hampers a QBs development. But if you could get him in say the 3rd rd, I think he would be ideal in this formation because he can give you every option out of the spread. TT is really a FB that can throw. He has got a LBs mentality. Teammates really seem to gravitate towards him because his attitude is always about the team and not about him.

One of the problems we seem to be having is that Ronnie can not throw out of this formation. I know he made that one pass to Fasano, but I see that as more of an abberation. Everything I've read says that RB rarely makes any throws in practice out of the spread. TT would solve this and put RB back in a more advantagous postion. Not only can he throw out of the postion, but he has a cannon for an arm. So, if we could get him in the middle rds. I would be estatic. I also think it would be a very prudent move.

No thank you. Too many needs to worry about a QB who won't make it in the pros :wink: Seriously though, We don't run this offense enough to warrent getting somebody who can pass to take Browns spot.

Use a 3rd round pick so we can put him in during Wildcat formations? Let me think about that. No!!!!!
 
no love for tim tebow gosh so sad watch a florida game and see how they dominate.. and hes throwing a lot better than previous years still not totally there yet but man he doesnt slide like some crap qbs hell get the first down against a cornerback everytime
