Hey all. first time poster but long time viewer of this here site. Does anybody got a clue what's up with D Wilkinson. He seemed like he was gonna have a helluva year not too long ago but went awol. If he's injured it'd be great to get a lil look at Evans.

atleast its not a start cleo lemon thread
i don't know what happened to big daddy today i saw zgonina in the D line rotation but not wilinson
for a first poster thats a stout observation
and fred evans has to get time to get into the nfl, its hard for rookie o-lineman and D lineman to get a feel for the nfl, there strength, speed, and awareness are still used to the college level

Welcome to Finheaven!!

Wilkinson did play today. I heard them mention #95, big daddy, during the game today. He was called for a penalty

i remember that too

also...welcome to the board! to the topic starter

Dan Wilkinson was inactive today. He did not play.

Thanks for the welcome fellas

I was pretty sure he sat out this one, just wasn't sure why he's kinda fell outta the rotation. Zgonina is a good vet but, I would love to see the young guys get a chance to become something more.

I was kind of ticked at seeing Zgonina in so much today. Any play that he is in at NT is a play in which we're vulnerable to allowing an 8 to 10 yard run right up the gut.

I think that was Traylor you're thinking of on the penalty. Wilkinson was inactive, along with CP, Vick, Pope, Evans, Berger, Massaquoi, and Vickerson.

Isn't he in big time legal trouble in Maryland?

I think it was a civil issue, which he settled a while ago. Unless something new has come up.

My whole fascination with this d-line is where we go next year when we have all these veteran free agents. Will Traylor(age36ish?) retire? and if so the guy that seems to be subbing him mostly this year is the not so stout nor fresh in the legs Zgonina. what the hel.... that ain't right.
