Alex Marvez, of the Sun-Sentinel, reports the Miami Dolphins are concerned DL Dan Wilkinson might decide to retire rather than play for the Denver Broncos, which would nullify a Saturday, March 3, trade that netted a sixth-round draft pick from the Broncos for the 13-year NFL veteran.

Haven't seen it posted yet......

Thoughts??

Yeah, that sounds like him. Wouldn't be surprised.
 
Nice, a lost pick for big Daddy and potentially another for Trent Green. We might go from 9 picks to 7 very fast. :shakeno:
 
He said the same thing before coming to play for us......make that a double cheeseburger fat boy........that way you are just a little slower (remember the Broncos are AFC also)

EXACTLY!!! I am tired of these cry babies threatening to retire when they get traded away. :boohoo:
 
Dont be surprise if we throw a WR at KC depending on what happens today with Stallworth. As far as Wilkinson, he pulled a Jake Plummer.

For an older heavier guy it's gotta be tough to think about going from sea-level to a mile high. Maybe if the Broncos promised to wheel him out to mid-field and provide an oxygen tent on the sideline he might re-consider.
 
Hopefully he'll come to his senses and realize what a great opportunity it would be to go to Denver, blah, blah, blah. Ok, we need the 6th round pick, so suck it up and play wilk.
