Man it sucks to be in the AFC east all the time. I am looking at the other crap divisions where 5-5 is first place. I'm just wondering even if we win out it will be good enough. One of you number crunchers let me know.
 
Well it all depends on how the Colts, Baltimore, and NE do.. Oh and how the jets do.

We'll just have to wait and see. Anything can happen. Manning can get injured. Baltimore/flacco can choke the last few games. NE can get caught cheating again. Favre may break his hip.

So we'll just have to wait and see... But, looking at how good the Colts, Ravens, Pats, and Jets have been playing. It is a slim slim chance. Even at 11-5. Even less of a chance at 10-6. and No chance, well 1% chance at 9-7.
 
It would be more than good enough for me.

Playoffs or no playoffs if we play like we have for the latter part of the season we should end with a very pleasing and respectable mark.
 
Technically, we need some help from here on out, even if we do go 11-5.

But to think that would not be enough is ludicrous. 10-6 will probably not be, but 11 wins is always enough to get in. Tough conference or not. I just don't see NE and Balitmore each getting 11 or 12 wins to beat us out...

It is not a slim chance at 11-5. True, we'd still need a few games to go our way, but it doesn't yet have to be any specific few, and five weeks is nearly one-third of the season.

It's probably more likely that we'd get that little bit of help than it is we'll finish 11-5 in the first place (and with our schedule, I actually think 11-5 is possible).
 
11-5 would be a certainty. No way enough teams will get to 11 to keep us out if we get there. 10 wins and we are in serious trouble, especially if we lose one of those divisional games. If we lose one of those NFC games, which is unlikely, then 10 wins would probably do it. Otherwise its looking like it will take 11 wins.

Dont take the person who suggested they would be ok with missing the playoffs, even with 11 wins, as representative of all of us phins fans. You do have a point though, some of the fans around here are completely satisfied with mediocraty. Alot of them also think its a sin to bash a player or players when we lose. Ridiculous.
 
But what are the odds of the Fins going 11-5..... Yeah, I believed they would until sunday after 4pm.
 
Ravens and NE will NOT go 11-5... so if we go 11-5, we'll get the 6th seed, but more likely 5th seed (Colts will lose @ Ten to go 10-6)...Ravens schedule is brutal so they'll lose atleast 2... NE just needs to lose one and we'll be ahead of them and they still hafta play Pitt, AZ, and Buffalo
