Will Allen to Giants idea?

It's no secret the giants have been hit with the injury bug and will be asking around for db's. Maybe we could offer Will Allen who he's previously played for...in my opinion we are fairly deep set at cb with sapp, caroll, wilson backing up davis and smith. My idea would be Merling (I don't know situation with Osi well) + Allen for Travis Beckum who I watched from his time with Wisconsin and could be a field stretcher. Just an idea..new to posting so be nice!

They lost Kevin Boss to the Raiders....Beckum is their pass catching tight end. Doubtful they would ever trade him with there tight end situation as is.

If we were going to trade Will Allen to any team right now... we would probably have to pay them to take him......

Do you honestly believe that Will Allen could command a 4th or 5th
round pick having played 6 games in 2 years?

If so, resign Crowder and trade him if the Giants are that stupid

I dont think the Giants or any team for that matter would take Allen simply because they dont know if they could trust his knee to hold up.

He has barely practiced/played this preseason because its obviously been acting up again.

I honestly dont know if he is even going to make our final 53, not because he isnt better than the other guys we'd keep, but because his knee seems like another IR player waiting to happen.
