Porlly would have improved our D if receivers had a defender within 5 yards of them IMO.
 
Ireland, don't be too proud and stubborn to call him. Patriots or Giants could possibly call him tomorrow...but I'm sure he'd stay in Miami with his family. We need him.

I knew it would bite us too. Why would you cut a corner who played well in the preseason? You cant have enough decent cover corners as we found out.

We were poorly conditioned as a team and the tackling sucked when we had a chance - Allen is one player - no one can stick to these guys for 7-8 seconds -

Anybody who thinks, at this point, that Allen would not contribute better than Sapp or Carroll is not thinking clearly. Knew this move would get us.
Blame it on whatever you want, blitzing, no pass rush.....there is nothing that covers up the poor play in the secondary tonight. On one hand people say how hard it is to defend Brady and his quick release, then say it's hard to cover guys for so long??? Even if that were the case you can do a better job than being 5 yards off your man. So much for our amazing Dline too.

And as far as concern over a possible Will Allen injury....you can't see in the future...deal with IF it happens. NO excuse not to sign him while he is healthy right now.

The talant does not match the Pats or a few other teams across the entire secondary - period - that is a FO decision but I'll add that we were unconditioned for the hurry up offense and Allen would not have made that much difference IMO

We lose with Brady going for 400 or 500 yards - Allen doesn't improve the play of the entire secondary
 
Will Allen was speechless but I was to busy yelling at Nolan Carrol! Clearly a horrible performance from the entire defense. But that clown Carrol was lost on every play. The camera zoom ins just pissed me off even more. His face showed he had no clue what was going on. Pats did a good job against the pass rush. Brady had all day in the pocket. So it did put more pressure on the secondary. But the secondary didn't look prepared at all. If Will can come in and help at all S.Ross need to pay the man his Milli.

So the Patriots are just a better team than us and we have no chance?

The Patriots are the class of the AFC - Fins are in the pack of average teams

No chance when we aren't even conditioned - correct

We have half a chance when our tongues aren't hanging out by the first quarter
