Free agent CB Will Allen worked out for the Patriots on Tuesday.


The Pats were likely just checking to see how much the 33-year-old has left in the tank. Former Titans nickelback Vincent Fuller was also put through a workout.

he has barely played the last 2 seasons, you cant keep everyone. Benny Sapp isn't great, but he has been healthy. Im just glad Jason Allen is finally gone.

You're right, but Will Allen came in and performed well the last two games, it wasn't like he bombed in the preseason and was trash, even looked good at Nickel with 1st team reps.. If he gets injured throw him on the IR..Will Allen was good enough to keep. Reggie Bush has continually in and out of injuries and we gave him 5 million and expect him to be or number 1 HB now...

Will Allen would probably be lined up on Hartline probably so he can just neutralize him, and they could double marshall and give extra attention to bess

BUt but butt will allen was making 1.5 million forget he renegotiated from 5 million
Sometime this team is too cheap with these decisions.
Maybepart of the reason edds and LJ got cut were contracts as well..

uh, if anything, its the offense. he has no clue whats comin his way and he has listened to tony sparano. I know its hard for people to believe, but I think BB has absolutely no clue what is going to happen. His comments were "we have to be careful there" when referring to our offense.

yeah, the basics of BB. Trade lots and get lots of picks, then score on only 25% of them, then pick up everyone else's oldies.

I agree. Every team can beat the Patriots in a "lot of different ways", is usually his favorite thing to say. However in this case I honestly believe him when he says he doesn't know what to expect, how could he? Film from a couple of preseason games. I'm not saying he doesn't come up with a game plan that shuts down Miami's offense. The guy is obviously very good but I do think he doesn't know what to expect this time. I'm sure he's familar with Henne's tendencies and flaws though and that could be enough, who knows.
