Giants fan here. Was just wondering what you guys thought about Will Allen this year and how you would assess his play.

Madison, in case you guys were wondering, was pretty solid for the Giants this year when healthy, though he dealt with a lingering hamstring issue most of the year. He wasn't thrown at a heck of a lot. Thats mostly because Corey Webster, playing on the other side, was absolutely brutal and targetted very often. Given his price most Giants fans have been satisfied with the signing, though we know he is essentially a stop gap given his age

How did Will A. hold up for you guys? And how do you view his signing?

He was everything I thought he would be for us. He's a solid corner who at times stares too long into the backfield while losing perspective of the receiver and gives up plays he shouldn't. I did notice that when he wasn't in the game, teams didn't shy away from going in that direction. He does suffer from the "Hands of Stone" syndrome that seems rampant amongst Dolphins DBs.

lol funny stuff man, anyway back to topic i thought he did alright nothing special but descent, he was deffinantly one of our better DB`s and the best corner we had though thats not saying much, not the best option as a number 1 starter, gave up a few big plays but not as many as the majority of our secondary. in the end a sound season not great by any means but also not totally shocking, his biggest upside i think is that he is still rather young compared to madison.

While he was okay, he played better then Madison did for you.

He improved his tackling which was a pleasent surprise.

Pretty much correct... I'd like to throw in that he seemed to always be in on the turnovers. He collected a few fumbles that I recall. I think he was one of the positives from last year.

he played well for us... i dont know where broken space bar boy gets that he was terrible, i swear some people think a corner cant give up any completions or he sucks... he was in position a lot of times, its a complex system we play in the secondary and its a lot of playing on an island solo, but he did a good job...

He sucked....Lee Evans torched him left and right!:D

I didn't think he stood out, but at least he made some tackles. Sam Madison can't even tackle a practice dummy. I'am for one glad to see Sam gone. Outside of not hitting or making tackles, he then gets stupid penalties. You guys can have him.

I was actually impressed. Every corner gives of big plays, except for Nate Clements this year, but other than that, he was in position, and made some key plays

His support in the run game is something that we haven't taken for granted, seeing he is replacing Madison.

His speed is incredible, and he can be matched up against any WR because of that. The hands of stone I can live with. At least he is in position to make picks, unlike Madison. What was hem, 20 something games without a pick for the fins?

I like W. Allen, a great addition to our backfield.

he was good, definitely an improvement over old Madison. I thought our best corner was Goodman though, he locked down his man. he allowed the fewest points to opposing WRs as far as fantasy football goes

Will Allen did pretty well considering he was our #1 corner, consistently matched up on the other team's best WR...and we did not run one of those schemes that typically bails out corners by having safety help over top, either.

The truth is he's an ideal #2 corner but when you don't have an ideal #1 corner, he does pretty well.

He was ok. Big penalty ended our chances vs Buffalo and NE. Then he got burned twice and by himself cost us the Houston game.

He is a #2 corner playing out of position. It's Muller's job to get us a #1 corner and slide Will back to #2
