After playing 12 games, Chambers has 837 yards on the season. Maintaining the same proportion of yards to games, Chambers would have 1,116 yards on the year.

However, we all know that 238 yards out of the 837 were from last week's game against the Bills. Before last week's game (after playing 11 games), Chambers had 599 yards on the season. Using this statistic and maintaining the same proportion of yards to games, Chambers would have only 871 yards on the year.

To break the 1000 yard mark, either Chambers has to have at least another out-of-this-world performance or he has to consistently play better. Do you think this year he can finally become a "1,000 yard receiver?"

If he doesnt, then he is a #3 reciever.

Yeah if Chambers doesn't catch for 1000 yards this season I have to question whether or not he should even be playing in the CFL, let alone the NFL. I mean, 990 yards and 8 touchdowns? My fricking grandmother could do that as long as she stayed healthy.

what in the world does that have to do with him getting a 1000 yards season

is welker better NO is Mcmike Better? NO is Booker better NO

he may. depends what his attitude is when he steps onto the field sunday. Im hoping its the kick he needs.

Before last game he averaged 54 yds a game. if he maintains that, he'll finish at 1053 give or take.

Obviously he'd be a #3. Probably a lower end #3, as most #3 receivers catch for at least 1000 yards and 7 touchdowns. Real smart comment. :goof:

If he averages 54 yards a game, he will finish with only (54 yards/game) * (16 games) = 864 yards.

Yup, same with Ronnie. ;)

It looks like he gets there this year unless he gets injured...

And I guess finfan54 probably feels we should get rid of Ronnie if he doesn't reach a 1000 yards. After all he's probably just as third string back.

Oh don't even get me started on Ronnie Brown. Talk about a complete waste of a draft pick. The guy isn't even the starting running back on the team. If I wanted a guy who just got 50 or 60 yards a game rushing we could have had one in the 7th round. Why didn't Kay-Jay Harris beat him on the depth chart again? I still can't figure that one out.

he meant if he averages 54 a game for the last 4, since he already has over 800

Ronnie Brown is Sammy Smith revisited.
