I have a feeling that Saban will defend Ronnie in the press conference the way he did McMichael over the taunting call. Any thoughts on what his post game comments will be like?

IMO it was a TD. But even still, being upside down like that and landing on your head certainly throws off your equilibrium.

If he has to, he needs to defend Brown.

No need to defend Brown, it was a touchdown.

Of course he'll defend Ronnie and he should. That was pure effort and a questionable call. It ticked me off at the time because I was sweating out my 6-month old futures bet over 5 season wins. When you invest money like that the idea is to have a big advantage and win. Normally I'm not sweating after halftime but those darn season wins and money lines somehow include the circus second halves.

so did you clean up???

Ronnie Brown scored a TD on that play. That was the worst call I've ever seen since I've been watching football.

He'll defend Ronnie...although it was a TD. Damn 3 games left and Ronnie needs to avg a little over 50 yards to get 1000 yards...I hope he can do it.

I can't believe all the BS calls in this game. It felt like we were going against 12 men.

Definatly... I have noticed that he ALWAYS defends his players on everything... xcept when they dont deserve defending (that scrub we tossed for the racing DUI)

He had the ball in his HAND and broke the plain and had his hand on the ground.... But I guess the official didn't see it!! No need to defend him he didn't fumble it.
I think Cady just ran away with the OROY :(

I won 500 bucks. The Venetian hotel sportsbook put up the season wins first, last May or early June. I saw the Miami number looked strangely low at 5 flat and over at even money. I expected it to be 5.5 or 6. We had already discussed that on this forum. Sure enough, when the other places put up the number it was 5.5 and the over reached almost a 1/2 favorite (bet 2 to win 1).

I really should have bet much more than $500 but it's difficult to tie up money that long. At least both my future bets won, the other being Colts to win their division, also compliments of a lousy number via the Venetian. They opened it 4/5 or -125 (bet 5 to win 4). It went up to nearly 1/4.

A few years ago I worked for two guys with huge bankrolls and they would have unloaded on those props. We would have bet them several times for the maximum and taken 1/3 each. Those were the good ole days, mid-to-late '90s. But the sportsbooks had a few bad years and became much more conservative. That's why most of my friends bet almost exclusively with the offshore books now. The sportsbooks here are now linked together so you have far fewer independent lines and therefore less mistakes.

Well, my friends and relatives benefitted from the Dolphins today. It means the Christmas presents I give will be better, or at least more expensive :)

caddys sucks. he get holes the size of the parting sea. he is nothing but a fun name for the press

I agree, definately not a fumble. Ronnie was either down at the 1 inch line or crossed the plain of the goaline for a TD.

I only saw ONE idiot Dolphins fan on the game thread say Ronnie fumbles too much and he should be blamed for the loss (if we lost)....which is moot now anyway.

It looked like a touchdown to me, IMO.

I only heard the radio call.....but ESPN had a pretty good shot showing the ball on the ground short of the goal line (not sure if he was short while in the air, but tough to overturn).
