Anyone have any insight as to the chances of crowder making it back for the Jets?

It looks like Miami's D Really needs him playing and healthy. I wonder if Sparano kept him out and if he could have played(at the risk getting even more hurt)

If this is the case in hindsight it was a good decision to let him get more healthy for the jets but it could have cost us the game.

thank god we won!

In my opinion they deactivated him so he could rest up for the Jets game rather than have him go out and possibly mess it up worse in 9 degree weather. he was practicing full speed earlier in the week, one day after he bicycled on the sideline, so I'd expect to see him out there against the Jets. Just my opinion.

i hope so. i think he is more important to this defense than alot of posters realize.

Channing is the center of this D. He is a person our organization can build around.... Sure he may overpursue at times, and what not, but coming into this week he had more tackles than ray Lewis. Then some of u guys say that he makes tackles down the field, not stuffing the holes, but no one was able to make tackles even down the field today. Im not saying his absence caused the 31 points put up today, but he would have been a big help. Hopefully we can get him in for next week, and signed to an extension this offseason. We cant draft a guy like muagula or laurinitis and wait for them to develop without a vet like channing in. As we seen akin didnt do all that today 3 tackles. Well heres to whooping the jets' @$$ next week!

I hope so. SOme people here think he's not that good and he may not be. However without him our middle is non exsistent.
