Will Dolphins kicker put his foot in his mouth?

He does tend to have a big mouth and what I don't like about him is that, as accurate as he is (because I beleive he is very accurate), he has no kicking power whatsoever.

I would hate to kick a clutch field go from 40 yards out.

Anybody who knows Bill Parcells knows that Bill hates kickers. They're pretty much a "necessary evil" to him. The only thing Bill hates worse than a kicker, is a kicker who can't shut up. Personally, I do believe Feely's days are numbered, and Carpenter will be the Miami Dolphins kicker in 2008.

And Parcells had no luck in Dallas at all with kickers. He can talent evaluate at every position BUT kicker.

If my boss thought the same way as Parcells I would have been out years ago and I would have gladly walked. Let the players talk. If Bill can’t handle some chatter from the players go to therapy or hire someone who can. Absolutely ridiculous considering the JT situation and how poorly that’s been handled, now you worry about a kicker who can actually kick being in the media. So sad, go get the Dolphins some more receivers or something productive towards winning games.

Well, he did draft Matt Stover in the 12th round of the 1990 NFL Draft. Stover has had a pretty solid career. John Hall had a pretty good career under Parcells when he was with the Jets. Last but not least, in 1996 he found a kicker out of South Dakota State, by the name of Adam Vinatieri.

we are talking about recently, kickers killd him in a lot of games during his dallas days.

From what I've heard Carpenter has actually been kicking really well on kickoffs. Supposedly he has been kicking touchbacks pretty consistently. If he's anywhere near as accurate as Feely I think he'll have the job. I think Brandon Fields' kickoff performance in training camp will also have an impact on the decision.

(On Sunday) When Ari Fleischer's 45-minute presentation was over, he asked if there were any questions. Feely was the only player with a question. According to Fleischer, Feely asked for advice on how to handle speaking about a team stance or policy he doesn't agree with.

If Feely is released I will be pissed! I dont care if he can boom a ball on kickoffs or not. He was mister automatic kicking field goals. He was the only bright spot last year. If memory serves me correct he was also a leader in special team tackles ( I am kidding ) for to many times he had to take down a guy running for the endzone as the last defender.

So he is outspoken? Who cares! He is a kicker, sure you should cut him if he is super negative and really bad mouths the team yet I have not heard negative comments from him that were that bad.

Shift the focus back to JT and leave Feely alone. Unlike JT he actually wants to play some football in Miami! I cant see how any fan would want this guy gone. He is a solid kicker. Do you really want Mare back to kick touchbacks and miss field goal kicks?

I will be mad if he is released. 91 percent accuracy? You think a rookie kicker or a ufa will do this? Possible, yet not likely!

I think it's only a matter of time before Carpenter has the job.

If Parcells Gets Rid Of Feely, Than He Will Be Making A Big Mistake. He Is A Good Kicker. Parcells Wouldn't Know A Good Kicker If He Kicked Him In The Head. If He Kicks Him Off The Team, Parcells Dumb *** Will Regret It When Some Punk Misses The Game Winning Field Goal. Go Parcells!!!!!!! Go Dolphins!!!!!!! Go Feely, The 2nd Best Player On R Team Unfortunately!!!!!

love Feeley. he was our 2nd best offensive weapon last year(Ronnie). this speaks volumes about our offense.

we had a great pk last, if we go in another direction, there's always the posibility he could be another...*gulp* Olindo Mare.
