Besides the hiring and firing of coaches...I was wondering if the TRIFECTA will start early this year in signing players or inquiring about some big namers (Antrell rolle, marshall, morrison,.etc.). I'm expecting to hear some big news about the Dolphins this Offseason...should i be?Do you guys think our fins will start early or steal headlines with some big names inquiries?

Yea. They will lay their whole gameplan out for the media and everyone to see a month before FA begins and several months before the draft comes. :rolleyes2:

yea ur right theres no fun in actually knowing what the trifecta will do with this team. i do feel imo that we are a few good players and veterans away from a playoff run.

Right now they'll be looking at 'diamond in the rough' players, street FA's (possibly some who were cut because of injury), CFL standouts etc..., there won't be any landscape changing players brought in, but you know that the trifecta will be out doing the legwork on anyone they think could help the team.

No i think right now they are all taking time off and staying away from football as a job for a while.

you and i work all year around.

The nfl is more like a teacher job. you work about 8 months a year and work hard but then you rest. Remember we are the only ones devoted to the Dolphins, for most of them its just a job.

Look for the Dallas trade to take place as soon as possible.

I guess you have no idea then what these guys actually do by this response of yours.

Coaching staffs and FO's would be lucky to get 1 week off, the only difference between the season and now is the coaches put in 8-10 hour days instead of 12-14 hour days.

I'm sure that the scouts and Ireland are starting to gear up but not much will happen until after the playoff's and SB. The first order of business will be the east/west shrine game that showcases the senior college talent. That's coming up in the next 2 weeks in Orlando. They had on the news that they are redoing to field so it's in shape for this game, it got completely destroyed during the Citrus bowl new years day.

I seriously doubt they'll be taking any/much time off before preparing for next season. They DO need to make any decisions on the existing coaches very soon. As if they plan on making changes in any of the existing coaches, they need to move soon, otherwise all the decent coordinators will be gone to other teams. While we have plenty of personnel problems on the field to deal with, it all starts with the coaches. And you need to get those situated first before trying to recruit F/A's or other players. I'm worried that they are not going to make any changes to coaching staff and we are going to have problems with the same things we had last year, regardless of which players we get/have in 2010.
