The chiefs waived WR Will Franklin, does anyone know about this kid? I remember him being pretty good in college and he has good size, 6'2 205 pounds and was pretty fast in college. Last year as a rookie he played 7 games and had 13 receptions which isn't great but does anyone think he is worth a look?

You Are Going To Have A Hundred People Say No Without Even Thinking About It. No One On Here Wants Us To Sign Any Free Agents Or Pick Up Any Players. Will Frankilin Was A Good Reciever At Mizz But He Played Behind Maclin, Rucker, And Chase Coffman. He Has The Speed , Athleticism , And Size To Be A Good Wr In The Nfl. He Runs A 4.37-40 So Hes Has Speed But He Has Better Hands Than Ginn And Runs Better Routes. He Just Doesnt Expect To Burn Everyone Deep Like Ginn. He Would Be Worth Looking At Since He Wont Cost Much Money;

Versus wanting to sign every possible free agent just to have some news to read during the boring offseason?

How about we just sign every player that gets cut by another team. Then everyone would be happy. Then we'd have 300 players on our roster when training camp begins and we'd have to cut 220 of them to get to our 80 man roster limit.

always worth a look. Im sure people said the same thing about Wes Welker and Greg Camirillo when we signed them. People pooped on signing Bradly last year and he turned out ok.

:lol: But not before we get the chance to "see what they can do."

the chargers were not strong at receiver when they cut Welker.
So he's Wes Welker? Based on what?

Is every cut WR the next wes welker? Should we assume so and sign every one of them? What about other positions? Should we assume every QB waived will be the next Brett Favre?

A million questions and a million reasons why it isn't necessary to sign every FA in order to evaluate them.

he is worth a look if we sign him it isnt going to hurt us because he is going to come cheap

I never said he will be the next anything I just am saying we can not dismiss a player because he got cut by a bad team. Its just as silly to dismiss evry player as it is towant to sig every player. I have no problem with exploring any option possible that does not include a big contract or draft pick.

And which "wes welker" do we drop to make roster space? What makes him worth signing over every other WR FA (let alone every FA in every position) to "take a look?"

I like how $385,000 is considered cheap. :lol:

I'm an option, and I don't require a big contract or a draft pick. Let's "see what I can do."

I just want to know what makes this guy worth signing over anybody else available or anybody else on our roster.
