do you all see ginn and hagan bein #1 and #2 wr's in the near future?
are chambers and booker on there way out?
chambers and booker better step up this year or the will be replaced.

i can see ginn takin bookers spot, i thought that when they drafted him, booker will be gone next year, but it wouldnt suprise me if it happens this year, im still not sure about CC

I think it will be Ginn and Chambers as starters.
yeah me too, maybe not right away but evntually maybe even this year yeah.

Is it just me or does CC never seem to consistently get open? He rarely ever explodes off the line Like I think he can...drives me crazy.

Chris Chambers can make catches that not that much recivers can make but yet drops easy passes but yes i do seeing ginn and chambers in the future.

I can't see anyone taking Chambers position, at least not this season. If he doesn't put up big numbers to go along with the big money he gets, he could be gone by next year. If Hagan continues to impress when training camp rolls around, he may take over for Booker. The same goes for Ginn. Still I think Marty is a quality receiver and would be fine with him starting.

I think there may be a good possibility that if chambers doesnt do in 2007 what he did in 2005 he may be a goner come 2008

By near future, do you mean this year? If so then no. In 2-3 years when Chambers contract is up, Ginn will take over his spot and Hagan will be playing where M. Booker is right now.

In Ginn's 3rd year and Hagan's 4th, they should have established themselves well enough to take over and should be one of the more potent WR duos in the league.

i agree that Chambers is inconsistent at times but lets not forget he's never had a good quarterback for an extended period of time to work a great long standing chemistry with....hes had culpepper, fielder (who is worthless and always has been), Lemon, Lucas, Rosenfelts, Huard, Griese, Harrington...shall i continue??? that speaks volumes for the player he is

I agree 100% and have used this arguement as well in the past

Chambers isnt a a number 1 receiver. Ginn will be good in the slot and Hagan has #2 reciever caliber

Chambers is one of the elite talents at WR in the entire NFL. He has great speed and exceptional leaping ability that allows him to play taller than he is. He also is fantastic at getting his feet down inside the boundary lines. It's no coincidence that his best year in Miami came in the same year that we actually had a QB who could throw a decent deep ball. Neither Ginn nor Hagan will be taking his place.

For Ginn to be a #2 WR in the NFL, it all depends on how he handles the jam at the line of scrimmage. At 175 lbs, he's awfully small by NFL standards. He was not even a factor in the red zone at Ohio State (note how almost all of his scoring plays were of the big play variety). If he can handle the physical play across the middle and in the redzone, then he can be a #2 WR or even a #1 guy. If not, he's really just be a deep threat.

Hagan plays slower than he times in the 40. He was not a downfield WR in college. But, he has decent size and knows how to get open. If he can get rid of the "dropsies," he can be a starter in this league.

Yes thats my point exactly as much as i like the guy,
Chris CHambers is a true #2 receiver plain and simple.
someone also stated about chambers that every year is supposed to be "the year" , well... its been 6 YEARS NOW! Not a great #1 WR indeed.

Getting back to the question posed in the original post, yes I can see Hagen and Ginn as #1 and 2 receivers but probably not for another 2 years. I believe Hagen will take a good step forward and post decent, but not great, numbers this year and then turn into a solid #2 receiver in 2008. I am hoping Ginn can follow in the footsteps of Steve Smith by 2009 or, if we are really lucky, 2008. But I'm guessing it will be Ginn and Hagen in 2009 unless Chris Chambers actually does become consistent with a decent QB throwing to him.
