I think he will be fired but who will replace him and embrace Philbin? I am concerned Dungy will recommend someone incompetent and Ross will be gullible. If we make playoffs, will Ireland keep his job? Who knows, the team has come together after Martin lost his sanity. I am very sure Cog is not coming back. Philbin is coming back next year.

Is there any way you can represent the Fans against Ireland for mental anguish and lost compensation?

**** no. This guy is like a bad penny...he will be back.

Ireland will be fired ---
not sure what the excuse will be.
But after the Bully stuff there has to be some one to go.

I would be representing myself. I grew up in Miami and we were always in the playoffs. Wanny was a horrible drafter and talent evaluator. I am hopeful for the future. Our next draft is crucial for the offense. Go Miami.

I am actually thinking NO.

And here is why.

He is not responsible for what transpires on the field. He is not responsible for how much time rookies play for. He is not responsible for makiing Tannehill a great QB.

Is he tied to some of it? Sure. But Philbin and coaching is the real problem/focus here. Ireland did a great job in the offseason. People hate Ireland so they look for anything to nitpick on him. Guys he picked up in FA are now starting to play better. We lost key guys and still produced to a certain degree. I could go on an on about some of the good and the notion that next year will be much easier to produce a much better offense will little problems like we have faced this year. We are a young team. We are pretty good when you seriously consider some of the guys Ireland has drafted or got in FA.

I could go on and even point out the bad. J. Martin. Incog. ect. but look at guys like Matthews, Grimes, Carroll, and even John Jerry has not been all that bad. I think he could go one more year and prove it ultimately by scoring on a couple of Olinemen (which I actually trust him in finding the right guys). He has the ammo to have another strong offseason financially speaking with the way it is set up.

Bottom line to me is this is up to no one but Ross. Ross will ask the opinion of Philbin because I am pretty sure he is not going anywhere unless he just craps the bed here late. If Philbin doesnt have a problem with his drafting abilities, and nothing happens to Ireland based on this Martin fiasco, then I believe they will either all live or die together in one year.

When Martin walked out, Ross realized Philbin and Ireland had differing views on Cog. Things have settled down and the NFL investigation will make a few recommendations but exonerate the coaching staff. The toughening up allegation is probably going to be rejected. Cog will be cut in 2 weeks. He will win his grievance. Martin will never come back and will be traded for a 6th round pick to the 49ers.

Ross will probably give Ireland 2 years of severance.

i don't think he will. if we go 9-7 and still miss out no. but another 7-9 I think so.

Can you be any more "all over the place". Holly smokes.
There is plenty of time to think about the off season in the off season.

I'd like to see a total housecleaning; this team has lost too many games that they should have won. If I had to choose between keeping Ireland or Philbin and his staff, I'd keep Ireland.

If Ireland overruled Philbin last May when Philbin wanted to cut Incognito following the golf course molestation, I don't think he survives even if the Dolphins make the playoffs.

This. I heard this today and was thinking Ireland is gone regardless of the season we have.

philbin comes back irelands toast is my read...and i support it fully

I think Ireland is out and Joe stays is my prediction too.

What happens at GM...I have no idea.

I do not want a forced marriage like the Jets have done. If Joe stays, I do not have an issue with Brian Gaine getting a shot. If someone from the Packers is interested, that might work.

Sit down for this...if they can Ireland, I might give Joe MORE power. Let him select his GM and give Joe personnel control.

What I DO NOT want is what the Jets and Panthers have done. Yes, the Panthers have won, but forced marriages do not work in the NFL.
