Will jared allen trade help us w/jt trade

Will the trade between KC and Minn. help us get what we want for him. Minn. gave up a 1st and 2 3rd for him.
 
Any GM giving up a 1st rounder for Taylor is nuts. 5 years ago maybe but today? no way. Allen is going into his prime, taylor is heading into his sunset.
 
I think Taylor is probably worth a 2nd and 4th round pick. Anything less offered and he will likely remain a Dolphin.
 
Jared Allen just turned 26, JT will be 34 come the start of the season... there is a big difference there...

I do think Minny overpaid but its Spielman, thats no shocker... but Allen is one of the best young pass rushers in the NFL, those are hard to get...

If someone offered that I think he'd be gone by now. That's alot to give up for a guy heading into the end of his career. Do the skins have 2nd and 4th rd picks this year? They are the only team I could see making a deal like that.
 
... Maybe he goes to KC now... since they just lost Allen and now have all sorts of picks! lol... That'd be crazy... one big MN/KC/MIA swapfest.
 
As someone had suggested previously on this board, Jacksonville has 2-3rd round picks. If we could get 2 3rd round picks from the Jags for Taylor I'd be just as happy as getting a 2nd and a 4th. Maybe more happy.
 
JT brings more value to this team than a trade could ever do. He is not only the emotional leader of the team he is also the leader on the field.

That leader is now competing on Dancing w/ the Stars after a 1-15 season. That's not the type of leadership I'd want on my team. As talented a player as he is maybe his lack of leadership has hurt you?
 
i THINK IT COULD WITH PHILLY. THEY WANTED ALLEN BUT DIDNT GET HIM SO I THINK THEY MIGHT OFFER A LITTLE MORE FOR TAYLOR. I THINK IN THE END IF WE GET RID OF JT IT WILL BE TO JAX WHERE HE HAS A LEGIT CHANCE OF WINNING. THE EAGLES HAVE PROVEN FOR YEARS THEY CANT WIN THE BIG ONE. SO I SEE JT IN JAX FOR THEIR #71 AND #89 PICKS FROM THE 3RD ROUND. ME MIGHT SQEEZE THE #58 AND #125. WITH THE #58 WE TAKE LAWERENCE JACKSON TO REPLACE TAYLOR AND WITH 125 I THINK WE GO SCANDRICK. BUT MAYBE BP CAN MAKE THEM THINK TAYLOR IS WORTH MORE AND IN A PERFECT WORLD WE GET THE #58 AND #71. I WOULD RATHER HAVE 2 PICKS IN THE 2,3,4 ROUNDS RATHER THEN THE 1ST ROUNDER FROM THEM.
