It doesn't seem like he has been a great part of the discussion lately, it's either Culpepper or Cleo. I wouldn't mind keeping Joey as our number 2, but I don't know if he will settle for that as a permanent position. What will Cam do with him? Does he have any trade value?

As long as DC is limping, we have to have a solid backup and backups don't get a whole lot better than joey.

The consensus among the press and most fans seems to be that Joey won't be on the team in 07.

I think Cleo is more than capable to be the #2 guy.

I dont think Joey will be here, and wouldnt be surprised if Daunte is gone also.
Cam teaches QBs he doesnt rehab them.
His livelyhood depends on a QB. I dont think he gambles on DC if hes not 100%.
If he drafts a QB first round.....I think Culpepper is done.

Joey came here under the premise that he would be Dauntes backup. I think that as long as the staff is willing to keep him at least 2 on the depth chart, I think he'll be willing to stay. He's said many times that he happy here.

i hope so dont see wat every one sees in CL, think CC can work with him and make him a better OB,he needs to learn 2 read the D' better,he has a good arm, ouick decision maker like him alot.........

If releasing Harrington would be the difference in acquiring a guy like Asante Samuel, Nate Clements, Lance Briggs, or someone like that.. why the hell would we keep him? I think at the least, Cleo Lemon has proved to be a solid and capable backup QB.

we should get rid of joey and safe his 3.5 mil $ salary for free agency! :D

I like Joey. He beat good teams. Like N.E Bears K.C..Lemon im not sold on yet.If cam says Lemon is the starter.Im all for it,but Joey is the best QB we got right now.Look a my pic of my baby girl. She looks like a baby losman...right

:yeahthat:

I think he'll be back. He could manage a game, and that's all you really ask of a backup QB.

I really hope Harrington goes next year, he was way too inconsistent for my liking. I think at this point Cleo has show that at the very worst he can be a decent backup for us. I hope we give Daunte one more shot, pencil in Lemon as the backup and draft a prospect for the future.
