Ive got a question. How long do you think Jason Taylor has playing at the highest level? He will, going by reports and comments be playing Outside LB in the 3-4 which will certainly be interesting to see regarding how that pans out. Im also wondering that because it just occured to me how old he is. Always think JT is younger than he is and how long hes been performing so good for us. I will say though i think he'll retire a Dolphin (same as Zach). I say hes got about 3-4 more good seasons in the tank yet.

I think, and i hope it lengthens his career. I also think going by my own opinion and what Saban himself has said, that if he had been coaching JT since his rookie season that JT by now would have HOF stats already. Thats saying a lot. He's such a heady smart player, i think that the more complex a system is the sharper it makes him play. He's gonna be fine barring an injury pray tell.

He's going to play in the same D that we had last year. Part time LB, and DE in the 4-3

I highly doubt well be running 3-4 plays where JT is vulnerable. Infact, I would expect the opposite, having 3-4 plays designed to take advantage of his quickness.

Yeah, um..... Guess you haven't noticed but We played in the 3-4 last year most of the time. Zack had one of his best seasons & JT wasn't too shabby himeself. Now with a season of experience in this scheme they should only get better. Not to mention our secondary upgrades which should cover alot better giving guys like Zack & JT BIG SEASONS.

I hate to break this to everyone, but JT played the OE position ALL last year in our 3-4 hybrid defense. Im expecting maybe 3-4 more years out of him. At mid 30s, your body just starts to break down and doesnt allow you to play at that high of a level anymore.

He already played well when we played 3-4 defense last year. He had his normal amount of sacks and more tackles than he's had in his career. I think he has 3 more years and next year might be his best.
