Will Kay-Jay Make the team?

He better make the team. Ronnie, Ricky, Sammy, and K J. I think in a couple of years Ronnie and KJ will make a great duo. Maybe Ricky also but who knows. Minor just can't cut it and Gordon...can we have our 3rd round pick back? :D
 
Does anyone agree or disagree with me that he has a shot at makeing the team as a FB? I really think he could take Morris's spot at back-up FB behind Evans... He definatly has the size... he is extremely quick for a FB and catches well out of the backfield and blocks decently... sounds like a great formula for a FB and would be a cheaper and longer solution than Sammy Morris...

I would love to see him make the team. That run after catch was awesome. Just imagine a backfield of Harris and Brown. Yup, that is 465-lbs. of speed. I hope he does, or at least ends up on PS.

I hope you did not include "Brittle" Gordon in our proven talent....I have a feeling KJ will look better than Gordo in the remaining pre-season games yet still only make the practice squad or get cut.

Lamar Gordon does not do it for me:sleep: , with his size and speed, he should be crushing people - yet it never happens, is it all o-line?

KJ won't make it though.

KJ was playing aginst scrubs but also with scrubs. He knew to get to the edge after squeezing through a hole and get out of bounds. Smart kid. Looked good.

have you looked at a probable 53 man roster for the team? there is no room for KJ on this team.

The only way he sticks with the team is on the practice squad IMO.
Seeing that my answer is no to the question but not because he sucks, just because there is other talent ahead of him the team just won't cut.

Kay-Jay also played against what 3rd and 4th stringers? Yes he had a nice play, but against lesser talent then what some of the others faced.

Ronnie is big for goalines, Ricky could gain weight back for goalines, Sammy Morris is big for goalines. We don't need another goaline runner.

And Sammy is the one RB that outplayed Kay-Jay in the first preseason game. I don't see anything special in Kay-Jay yet.
 
i dont see him making hopfully though it wont be the end for him sure someone will pick him up maybe
 
No, the other guys are ahead of him are still better. Probably could stay on the practice squad. Get a Chris Henry jersey, he's from West Virginia, and will make a team, unlike Kay Jay.

Ya... but we havent even tried using KJ at fullback yet... I was saying he should compete for the backup FB spot with Sammy. We havent really seen much of Sammy or any of KJ at fullback...
