Guys, I am way low today. As are we all, I expect.

The loss doesn't bother me that much. Neither does the point spread.

But losing Cameron Wake is devastating.

Can this team recover from a massive blow to morale?

I hope so. But I also hoped we would at least give New England a game.

It hurts to say but I don't really think so. OV's are best and only pass rusher... Good luck with that. Wake was also the only shred of leadership we had on that D. Completely catastrophic loss.

Doesn't matter much. The season is over anyway.

Well technically I'd say they're alive for 10 days, but if they eat another loss to Buffalo then you can say goodnight.

The bigger picture, b/c lets face it this team has NO shot at winning the SB this year, is whether Cam Wake is done for good - if so, that's another hole to fill in the offseason and I don't see Vernon as being a viable substitute, he's a streaky highly inconsistent player (although that might lower his perceived value).

The thing about Wake is he getting a lot of wear on the tires, and he seems to be hurt all the time. Even when he is healthy he is often on the sidelines. Yeah it is nice seeing him getting a four sack game, but these great games are few and far between. We need lineman and linebackers who we can consistently count on. Right now i would say getting a top LB in the draft is our main priority, along with getting better offensive lineman. I hope Wake will be ok, but you have to wonder about Wake going forward after this year.

We have so many holes on defense that we have to go defense in the 2016 draft with all our picks. One of those picks now has to be a DE.

If Wake comes back in 2016 I don't think he'll be as good as before so you might be better off with not bringing him back and try develop the rookie instead.

You don't just replace one of the top DEs in the league .

We now need to look at drafting

DE
MLB
CORNER
FS

RG
LG

That being said I still don't think the season is over . We need 3 straight wins . If not ... THEN it's over

3 straight wins would be a good start. At Buffalo, at Philadelphia and then at home against Dallas? Zero chance we win all three.

I love Cam Wake, one of my all time favorite Dolphins! I hate that he is injured! Complete class act all the way! With that being said, I choose to take any positive I can. Wake has been disappearing for game on end for the last few years and then comes up with a stretch where he dominates and then disappears. He is average at best at run defense. This will force us to face facts that we need to move on.....maybe not completely as I hope he stays a Dolphin, but time catches up with us all!
