I think, oddly enough, compared to last year, we are stacked at LT now. I like Mcintosh. I think last year with the late start and being thrown into the fire, he had some tough times, but considering, I think he did OK. I believe Mcintosh can play LT and Carey has now shown his worth by being able to play both positions. I think the plan will be to move Carey back to LT eventually but if this works, then they will go with it.

Carey should be able to attack his man on the right side a little more since he doesnt have to worry about the pass rush as much as the left side (not saying not at all). This will wake up Mcdougle who started off the game by going offsides on the first play of the game. That was a sign from god right there that it was going to be a bad night. :fire:

We need a new C. If Hadnot is really a better center than Seph, which seems to be the popular opinion on this website but does Houck agree?????????, we really need Middleton to emerge at RG. If that happens we should have 5 solid starters but continuity will be an issue.

I disagree. I have not seen McIntosh play at a level worthy of him being a starter anywhere.
Until I do see him play at a high level with some consistency, I still think he is just a stop gap average player who should be a career backup.

Agreed...plus, I think this switch, although it may end up working out, will set the line back before it really helps.

I just hope old Nick finds a spot for all these guys, and gives them a chance to get used to it. This game of musical chair probably won't work in the long run.

I believe this is going to be are starting O-line. If McIntosh is healthy...this is unfortunately the best line we can put together. I think they will try and have the guards help Mckinney out though. The bad part of that is that D-cordntrs will see the weakness and blitz that part of our O-line.
