Ernest Wilford dropped three passes in Wednesday's practice and was called out by Dolphins coach Tony Sparano.

"You got to catch the (expletive) ball," he said, later adding "You guys are late with your head. Get your head out of the (expletive) way." Wilford is Miami's fifth WR behind Ted Ginn, Greg Camarillo, Davone Bess, and Derek Hagan

Look I know the guy has big money tied down to him, but we need to cut his ***. The guy has been horrible and cannot catch for crap. I dont know what has happened to this kid, but talk about FA bust. Then there is Hagan who I cannot wait to see gone and I swear the only reason Ginn is still around is becuase of the little upside he might have. Considering all this how long before The Trifecta decides to sign a player that can catch. Man Erick Parker, Roydell Williams and Chad Jackson are still out there. Shoot Koren Robinson and Korey Colbert just joined the Seahawks and we stayed with this crew of butter fingers.

They need to admit they ****ed up, Period. Granted they were not many option out there and at the time it was a good signing, but Wilford has been horrible. They need to pickup somebody at this point a guy like Erik Parker, Roydell Williams and even Chad Jackson would not hurt.

Eric Parker cant catch either.. roydell Williams isn't any better than what we have here.. i dont think.. Chad Jackson I wouldnt mind trying out sice he is young

There is a reason that guys that are available now are available. Might there be a minor upgrade? Possibly, but then it takes time for the qb and rerceivers to get in sync. I'm afraid we are stuck for now.

The Dolphins are rebuilding the right way. Establishing a good WR corp will take some time. I do not expect much, if any progress this year beyond Bess. I'm disappointed in Ginn so far this year.

Maybe Wayne is semi-oblivious or so loaded he doesn't mind the almost irretrievable costs incurred by the signings of FAs who underperform, get released or traded for a pittance, but something tells me that Mr Ross, based on how he made his bones, will not be looking back too kindly or understandingly on what's turning out to be "throw a lot of crap against the wall....." FA process.

Cut him and absorb the cap hit now, I think we have the space. Bring up Anthony Armstrong from the practice squad.

I don't think they will cut him. I wouldn't be surprised if they try to unload him via trade(even for a 7th round pick) as the deadline approaches.

Damn. If some of you own your own company, do you have any employees left? :D

He needs to give the Phins a refund! Cuz i don't like the work he performed, I'd rather have spent the 6 million on 10 Davone Bess!

How disappointing is this Wilford sitution. You give him all that money to be a 5th wideout behind the likes of Ginn, Hagan, Camarillo and Bess.

That is just pathetic. Wilford was a good player, decent anyway. WTF is after happening like? I have never seen a player go down-hill as quick as Wilford has in Miami.
