Will Miami Make The Playoffs?

Eventhough we had a bad start we can have a great finish, such as last year's finish (6 in a row), this year we need a 9 game win streak (which we have already 2) and add 7 more winning games to the record...

If we end 10 - 6 theres a big possibility to get into the playoffs, maybe not as the divisional leader, but maybe as a wild card...

Thats why Im asking you:

Do you have faith in getting to the playoffs this year or you have dismissed it already?

I think we have an outside chance at finishing 10-6, though we will need to throw everything we have to Jacksonville, New England, and Indianapolis to do it.

Even then, we still need some help (the current 3-6 teams to lose one more game, Cincy, Jacksonville, and KC to lose 2 games, and the Jets to lose 3) to still have a shot.

One game at a time.

I still like our chances at the title myself... In my thread, the next 3 weeks will tell the story. If my predictions are correct, we can tie for the lead in the East in week 14 by beating the PATS in MIAMI!!!

the finz to make it. i hate that. i would rather have the draft

this team will have to win out [it wont] and other teams that
are MUCH better than miami will have to tank. pipe dream!!

draft spot. and then we get to do it ALL OVER AGAIN with
c-pepp and saban next year.

It's definetely possible. It will be extremely tough but if Saban can keep the guys motivated every game and we can steer clear of some key injuries then I believe we can do it.

I know that there is scepticizm out here about the chances of a run for the playoffs... There was also that same scepticizm last year after a 2 game winning streak and after the 3rd and finally the 4th game began to get people's attention... The 5th straight win had the majority JUMP BACK ON THE WAGON and providing a multitude of different scenarios of how the FINS could get in...

Everyone has their limits when it comes to believing in something... Most are from MISSOURI it seems... You know, the "SHOW ME" state and there is nothing wrong with that! But there are a few of us out here that will continue to believe until the math proves us wrong. This will never change.

The difference between these people is very complicated. We can throw emotions, facts, statistics and even some wishful thinking in the mix. It is all there on both sides... The difference comes down to what you take from the above mentioned and what you decide to support and how you apply it to your own desired outcome. Nobody is right or wrong until proven so...

But I am one that would rather be proven wrong with their team not making the playoffs than the one proven wrong about the lack of faith of their team that DOES make the playoffs!

it still very possible to make the playoffs this season despite starting off in such deep of a whole however the truth that other than the elite teams in the afc there havnt been to many powerhouses.....though i think we have a shot i think it will only be in the wild card and with the 6th seed, i mean we are still at the bottome of the east and even though its by three games i find it hard with our crapy divisional record to win the east

Hey by any chance are you and TampaBayFinFan01 (I think that's his screen name) best friends?? You guys are the most bitter fans I've ever seen. You wonder if anything this team has ever done satisfied you? Or is it just that you two have a personal vendetta towards Nick Saban (or Nick Satan as I've seen you call him)? I think you are talking about the "O" in the second half primarily here... This is a concern of mine as well. I don't think we did enough on offense in that game... The big plus was that Joey had no INTs and even though most say the gadget plays where un-called for, one got us 7 points. The halfback option would not have happened if RB thought he could of made the goal line. He said in the press conference that running to the left was painful... Not in these words however... I also believe that the play was successful and that the ZEBRAS did not award the push out in the back of the end-zone...

Now the reverse, IMHO is not a gadget play... had it worked, most of the fan base would have been calling MM a genius! Even a loss of yardage on the play would have been acceptable to most... But since it was fumbled and the CHIEFS scored their only TD on it, it is considered a reckless call...

We DO NOT have a dominate offense! Everyone knows that! However, the trick plays not only have a chance to work but the teams that we play next will have to game plan for it!

Let's take the reverse for example... This week instead of RB handing it off to CC, RB keeps it and runs for a big yards! Why? Because the play looks exactly like the one that failed last week and the VIKES are expecting the play... They bite on the reverse and RB runs down the right sideline!
