If he even plays, it will be interesting to watch: #PopcornTime

Just reading an Eagles presser when he was signed to a reserve/future contract, props to their writer for creativity in trying to turn chickenshit into some sort of chicken salad LOL

The Eagles added another veteran offensive lineman with starting experience on Wednesday as former Dolphins guard Dallas Thomas signed a reserve/future contract.

The 27-year-old Thomas was a third-round pick of the Dolphins in 2013 out of Tennessee. He started 26 games in his three-year NFL career, including all 16 contests in 2015 when quarterback Ryan Tannehill threw for a career-best 4,208 yards and running back Lamar Miller tied a career high with eight rushing touchdowns. He was Miami's starter entering this year's Training Camp, but lost the job in the preseason to 2016 first-round pick Laremy Tunsil.

Thomas, who is 6-5, 316 pounds, was pressed into action this season after Tunsil suffered an ankle injury. Thomas was released by Miami in October.

A three-year starter at Tennessee, he played in 50 career games, spending time at both left tackle and left guard. He allowed just two sacks in 1,296 pass plays with the Volunteers.

I watched some of the Eagles game last week. He was playing right guard on the second string offense.

If the guy was any good, does this dude honestly think we would have out right cut a "starting" 3rd round pick guard when we NEED starting guards lol He was probably the worst lineman I could remember. I still laugh when the coaches acted like Tunsil wasn't penciled in as soon as he was drafted as a starter lol Dallas Thomas is the definition of a total bust. It's not a coincidence our whole team changed and started winning post Dallas Thomas...he's that bad!! Have fun Philly (:

An Eagles fan made a point of telling me the other day "that offensive lineman we got from Miami blows".

I gladly replied "I told you that when you signed him".

He's not making their team.

They signed Chance Warmack as well, colossal bust, he's not doing well for them and he's expected to start.

Holy ****, Dallas Thomas is still in the league.... wow.

Like any other ex-phin that hasn't joined the Pats or beaten his wife or anything like that, i always prefer to see 'em do well. Setting aside his play on the field, based on interviews and whatnot he seemed like a decent guy, also handled his constant bashing reasonably well.

I literally thought when he was cut after the titans game, there was no way hed still be in the league. Just unreal.

He will play out of his mind against us... in the pre-season. And then stink up the joint all the other time, like usual.

Guy's just a bad football player. Probably a great person, good human being, strong man of character, etc.

But a bad football player and I'm glad he's continuing his career with another team, and not the Dolphins.

Of those three guys we cut mid-season, Thomas absolutely needed it. Billy Turner deserved it, but had enough physical talent that I would have been OK with keeping him on in a reserve role while trying to develop him. Jamil Douglas was probably cut too soon, and quite frankly I think that we mis-handled his time here from the start.

But even having said that, I don't think we're going to be looking at any long-term regrets there.
