Will our starting CB's next season be Will Poole and Travis Daniels?

I really hope they are. I think Will Poole could be a top 10, maybe even top 5, CB in the league. I think he has elite skills. Travis Daniels is obviously in Saban's future plans. With Howard and Madison likely to either restructure or be cut/traded next season, I think this could be a real possibility. Do you think we will start them both next season or something else?

I think if what you want plays out that it's a possibility that maybe Madison could be converted to FS. Just a thought, don't crucify me for it.

It depends how Madison plays this year, specially in run support. I still like his coverage abilities but Im not sold on his tackling skills. I hope Will Poole can stay healthy next year and see what he can do. It would be nice though, having 2 young good corners.

It's just ashame what happened to Will Poole. Miami's seconday finally has some openings and this kid doesn't get a chance to show his talents. I hope he bounces back!

I wouldn't count out Howard either. If he plays well as the starter then all of a sudden his contract doesn't suck for a starter. Madison I am not sure how well he is going to fit this defense + his huge cap number. Have to really see how the season goes and see how Will comes back from the injury.

I'm thinking that our starting CB's next year will be Sam Madison and Travis Daniels. Madison is currently making $3,420,000 and he will be making the same amount in 2006 as well. Whether Sam will be moved to FS, I don't know, definitely a possibility but I really do feel that he will be on this team next season. The CAP HIT of releasing or trading him would be over 6 million I believe, I expect Sam to either restructure next year or in 2007 which would be the final year of his contract. Of course, his future here is going to be determinated greatly on how he performs this year in Saban's defensive system, but I do think he and most likely Travis Daniels, Will Poole, and even Reggie Howard who I am not counting yet... point is I expect Sam Madison to be on this team starting for us next season.
