Will our West Coast Offense expose the NY Jets Defense?

Whatever "system" your running the game is still dictated by the plays you call.. Rex loves to blitz but if your killing him with short passes he is going to switch it up...Look what he did to Brady a few years ago. He rushed 2 at times..

I love it. You wonder what is wrong with the dolphins organization and their fans. Instead of figuring out how to win the division, compete with the elite teams like the patriots and Giants, the fins fans are concerned with exposing a very average 8-8 team.

You cant make this stuff up.

Figuring out how to beat our biggest rival?

Not good! 2/14 on 3rd down and a total of 237 yards. The game was 9-0 Packers.

I'm curious is this indicative of how a WCO would typically match up against the JETS defensive scheme? Especially when you consider more or less it essentially will be built on the same principles and hell probably the same game plan that the packers employed when the last played the Jets.

No, I don't think you can come to that conclusion from 1 game. The Packers really didn't start to get on a roll until the end of the season, and every game is going to be different.

The 49ers (Bill Walsh WCO) and the Bears (Buddy Ryan's D) played each other in the 80's. The 49ers whipped them twice in the playoffs, but the Bears managed to stop the them a few times in the regular season.

The Jets use the 46 and 46 concepts but it's hardly the Jets base defense. Is this a serious thread?

Our D is better than their Offense so as long as we win the turnover battle, we will win the game. We have beaten them with barely any Offense so a west coast should take advantage of mismatches and we will score more points.

I was curious about this as well! Does anyone know/remember how the GB offense last season or the season before did against the Jets defense?

The GB O was completely shut down by the Jets D BUT it was a very windy day that affected both offenses, if we met up in the SB I'm sure GB would have fared much better against our D. W/ that said you don't have Aaron Rodgers and company.

almost as serious as Mark Sanchez as your starting QB and Rex Ryans guaranteed Super Bowl Rings. ...Oops, I guess Im wrong....This is not a serious thread then...

It doesn't take an Aaron Rodgers to defeat the Yets.
