I noticed Penny wasnt there at Bufallo... will he be at the games for the remainder of the season... he's a great "player coach" can only help for him to be on the sidelines mentoring Chenne...

Is he not allowed to walk the sidelines? Anyone have any info on this?

I think if he can be, he would do it. What else is he going to do? He always was a good mentor to Henne, I don't think he'd stop now unless for some reason he couldn't be there.

I'm pretty sure he was still recovering from the surgery this past Sunday. I guess we'll see.

He's still on the team and a part of the organization, he's just on IR. He hasn't been released or anything. "Legally" he should be alowed on the sidelines.

Lets see.. an NFL QB that has played football his entire life, been and seen many many football games, who is recovering from minor shoulder surgery.. If I was him, I'd be on the sideline for as many games as possible with the exception of any cold, windy snow away games where I would prefer to be comfy inside my Florida home watching it on the big screen..

I hope so, but Parcell's is known for not having seasoned injured players on the side lines.

I think he needs to be on the sidelines come Monday Night...he can fire up the players while on the sideline...telling the players to go out there and smack the Jets around for releasing him

Chad P was asked about this in the interview he did after he was put on the IR. He said he would leave it up to management and did not want to be a distraction. The reporter pushed him and asked if management wanted him there would he and he replied that he was a "football head" and loved dissecting the x's and o's.

I don't see why he won't be there Monday. He had just got finished having surgery and probably wanted to have a weekend at home to recooperate.

When are you Penny man lovers going to wise up? The quarterbacks coach is David Lee, Pennington has nothing at all to do with that. This is a harsh business, and Pennington is done as a Miami Dolphin. He may end up as a back up in New England next season. For reasons like that, he should not be allowed in the building, or on the sidelines for the rest of the year. He is done here.

I like Penny as much as anybody and I will always be thankful for what he gave to this organization. Although I think you are being a little harsh, I do think that you are making some sense. While I think that there is value to having Pennington on the sideline, this is now Henne's team and he must establish his role as the leader. Having Penny on the sideline will hinder that process, IMO. The players need to follow Henne and no one else. IMO, Pennington would be a help to Henne with the X's and O's, but he will only slow the process of him taking over this team on the sideline.

I think the Fins have a rule that if you are not on the 53, you cannot be on the sidelines. Camarillo was never on the field last year. He had to get tickets to watch the games

I don't think he can be on the sidelines. I know last year's injured guys couldn't be on the sidelines. Besides, I think it's better that Pennington stays off the sidelines. It's Henne's team now.

Penny is so 2 weeks ago. Lets leave him there and move on.

The man has been gone for one game, he is still a part of the organization, as far as I know he's still a team captain, and I would not count him out being back here next season in some capacity.
