7 ints his last year at usc, had a solid year in 2004, great tackler, I remember the bengals game when surtain went down he shut down that side of the feild palmer had to look at madisons side, travis daniels and ty law (strong possibility) we might have an elite secondary once again if our safety situation gets resolved.
 
If you're right about Poole and the team drafts Huff, it would be interesting to see who would eventually get moved over to safety -- Huff or Daniels. I suppose one of them could be the nickel guy, but I'd think you'd want to maximize their time on the field, which would suggest a move to safety for one of them.
 
I Like Wil Poole Too Him And Daniels Should Make A Good Team I Hope We Resign Schulters And Our Secondary Will Be Scary.... :dolphins:
 
how about bell as a blitzing safety, I have all of our winnig games tivoed, and Ive been watching bell blits, I dont know if its sabans technique or wat but this guy is in the qbs face almost everytime he blitzes, he will be a great asset next year

I'd have to assume that Daniels would move, since he knows the system better than Huff would. But I don't think either would lessen our secondaries overall talent any.
 
If we pass on Huff with the 16th pick then I will really doubt Saban.

That guy is the best opition and gives us a Safety for at least 6-8 years that will produce every game.

I wouldn't write Howard off just yet. If he is willing to take a pay cut this year, he may be the veteran leadership at the position. I'll say one thing for him -- he tackles.

I would take a franchise left tackle over a safety anyday of the week!

one thing is for certuin we will draft mostly defense this year, its been awhile since our offense ended with a better rank then our d i think 16th and 20th respectively

Trust me, you won't say that if we draft a QB. I would love to get Huff or Landry. But if Saban drafts Cutler, we still have Five other rounds to look forward to get a safety.
