Will Rickey be traded this year?

The football year is taking its toll on the NFL ,s top running backs. Today it looks like McAllister(Saints) and Davenport (Packers) are both done for the season as reported on Redzone Profootball .com. My opinion is that sooner then later Teams will come calling for a trade. I wonder what posters think is fair value of RW or do you say hang on to him and play both RB and him in the same back field ? I always had the feeling no matter what Saban has said in the past he would trade RW for fair value. :D

well Rickys value to other teams may have gone up a bit. but i still think there are to many negatives about ricky, preventing teams from making a reasonable offer to the fins. so, at this point, ricky is worth more to the fins, than what the teams are offering in trade.

ch19079 I respect you opinion , but I have to think that if a team who was marked for the playoffs has a guy go down or a playoff team wants an extra guy to but them over the top(Eagles) they may come calling.

Although I 100% don't want RW to leave. Any non-homer Eagles fan should see that they need a traditional running back. I'd stand by my word that if Eagles management would get a set and trade for Ricky....that team would be deathly scary. No one could say they aren't the obvious Super Bowl champ until they actually see them lose in the playoffs.

Ricky is one toke away from a year long susp, has contract issues and still has not proven anything since returning (due to his 4 game susp). Why would anyone want to trade for him..besides, if Deuce is done for the year, wouldn't it be ironic if the Saints wanted to trade back for him ??? LOL...

as things always seem to happen.. the day we would trade ricky away is the day ronnie would go down with a season ending injury... it always seems to happen that way.. I think he plays out this year and we look at options during the offseason.
