The real question is if he will get the carries to do it.

how great would it be if he had around 23 carries for 140 yards and 2 TDs? I cant wait for a game like that! :evil:
 
Agreed. I'd like nothing more than for Ronnie to run it right down the Raiders' throat all day today.
 
I don't think it will happen this game, even if Sapp is out... I don't think he'll get the carries.

RW will be a Raider next year (Whether Norv get fired or not) and this is his audition. RW will get more carries than he has been getting in recent games today.

RW will be the reason RB doesn't get the c-note, not Chokeland's D.

Why would they want ricky when they just signed Lamont Jordan to a huge deal and he is running well?

I do agree that Ronnie won't get 100 due to lack of carries though.
 
Lamont is averaging 3.5 yds per carry, and about 69 yards per game. He gets the rock about 20 times a game on the ground, and is averaging about 5 catches per game.

His 9 TD's in 10 games is his only decent stat. If I'm the Raiders and I have a chance at RW, I take him. They can utilize Jordan and RW the same way we utilize RB and RW.

I dunno... I just have a feeling he will wind up in Chokeland... especially if Norv somehow manages to keep his job.
 
Didn't Ronnie already get like 130 in a game?
 
man, ronnie need s to get his carries.
i hate this whole spliting the backfield duties between two backs.
i could maybe understand it, if ronnie was the truth, but kid is good, he needs the rock.

simple enough....ronnie: 19 carries 105 yards and 1 TD
Ricky: 15 carries 68 yards and 1 TD

we scored anywheres from 14-24 points and loose by anywheres from 7-17 points.....
 
I agree that Ronnie will not get that many carries and I'm ok with it for now.Lets face it guys, we're not gonna make the playoff this year so why run Ronnie into the ground now? Let Ricky get some carries too and see if we can get something for him in the offseason.Then next year Ronnie will get his carries with this year under his belt.In the end, Ronnie not getting so many carries now could be a good thing.

With Ricky and Ronnie splitting time, it will only help Ronnie in the future. Ronnie is NOT taking the extra hits and that will help him down the line.

BS!

Ronnie would be top 3 in the league in rushing (and we might be winning more) if it weren't for Ricky getting half of his carries! Big north and south runners need 25-30 carries to be effective!
