I would be at the top of the list of Ricky haters, but I don't post enough to take the title. But I will answer anyway.
#1 I will not boo a t.d. for the fins no matter who made it.
#2 I have two young sons who play in a youth league here in P.S.L. Last year my ten year old led his division in sacks,Q.B. hurries, and tackles by a red striper*My eight year old was one of the fastest kids on the team of 8,9,and ten year olds. Any idea how to tell them that it's ok to abandon everything and go smoke dope for a year :shakeno:
By the way they are both honor roll students.
#3 A Mistake? as in one How many abandoned kids? How many failed drug tests?
#4Do you remember the 60 minutes interview? :fire:
All of you people that think he is all of a sudden going to be a good guy now
what are you going to do the next time this man child does some thing stupid?
*These stats are unoficial as no one keeps these stats, If there is anyone else here that was involved in P.S.L.A.A. lower tackle do you remember #86 from the Cardinals? If so please chime in.
no offense, however it probably will turn out offensive, but was bragging about your kids that much, necessary? as i was reading that, i was thinking you would be the type who would have that certain honor roll bumper sticker...then you actually mentioned honor role..made me laugh hehe. they are only 10 and 8 for crying out loud lol, school hasnt even begun yet, nor puberty, let alone a real honor role. you are on the right track though it seems in raising them, you seem like a good parent. middle school is where it all begins, and highschool is when it starts to count officially, make sure to stay humble, no one likes ego braggers =)
but what do i know, i have no kids hehe. its just that the "By the way they are both honor roll students", drives me up the wall, not of jeolosy just of seinfeldism.
on to the ricky thing.... id chear for him. i was beyond irrate when he retired a year ago, but times have changed. if nfl football wasnt in his heart, then it wasnt in his heart. retired at a horrible time and selfishly chose to do what he wanted to do. i beleive he never loved football, its just that he knew he was given a god given skill and that he knew he should take advantage of it and go as far as he could with it. years later he is in the nfl and feels caught up in the whole nfl life style which he never even wanted nor expected to be so difficult, not even in high school i think. after the 300 attempts by wanny, and him feeling the whole offense was on his back, he probably felt cornered and threw the whole life style away and wanted to start new, but now he knows he cant..he has 3 kids and 8.6 learing over his head.
i think now that he is back, he will TRY just enough to fit in with the team and their scheme, even though he rather be traveling or living the normal life. he realizes he must be in football for now and will give it a reasonable effort, but he will treat it as only job and let everyone know that. he isnt a guy who should be in the spot light or relied on as your go to guy in the nfl, becuase he just doesnt have that hunger, leadership, and personality..its not in him.
he just doesnt find being a winner in a pro sport important in life. infact we all know if he wasnt a football player he probably wouldnt even tune in to watch football games for entertainment. he is probably cool in real life, he isnt one of these ego, gangsta, bling blingers.
