Or do we promote Jason Garrett or Charlie Baggett?
It will be easy to promote.
We do need some type of change.

Who knows??? It will ultimately depend on what the remainder of the season holds for us on offense. If I had to guess though, Saban will likely try to find someone more aggressive during the off-season. That's just an assumption though....

as bad as Mularkey has been this year, I think we need to keep him around for some kind of consistency around here. he def calls some bonehead plays every now and again but all in all, not too bad. Lets finish strong and keep MM here.

I'm not gonna pass judgement on Mularkey just yet. Our offense has clicked better in the past few weeks. So I'm willing to wait till the end of the season and view Mularkey's progress through the entire season, THEN make the call on whether he should be cut or not. Personally, I'm rooting for him to do well cause I don't feel like going through another offensive coordinator.

Despite his struggles, it is probably the best if Mularkey returns next season. The offense is finally starting to click under him and firing him would force us to start over again. Keep Mularkey.

How was Linehans' offense looking at this same time last year???....

Answer : Not good....

Although Mularkey needs to adjust his playbook, and shelf some of the gadget plays that go nowhere, he's making progress within our offense in my opinion. How quickly we forget that Linehan went through much the same last year, and was nearly fired half way through the season too....

Looking back, we all know the offense came around, and we closed the 2005 season on a positive note as a result. I think we're simply seeing much of the same this year.....

I am hoping that we promote Baggett. I dont really want to bring anyone else in because of the consistancy factor... but MM has to go. Baggett knows this offense and how to use it.

How long has Baggett been here? Does anyone know if he has any potential?

i dont really think we can judge our offensive coordinator yet.

our line has sucked and without a line the passing game cant do squat and the running game cant do squat.

until the o-line starts to play consistenly like it did against Chicago, then the blame lies there and not on Mularkey.

id like to get rid of him but unfortunatley i think we will keep him for like you said, consistency

How 'bout we just put the handcuffs on his idiotic gadget plays for the remainder of his tenure... and just call the game like it should be called... mano-a-mano

I think if we go 8-8 or better Mularkey keeps his job, if not Saban may have to clean house on some coaches.

Not to change the subject, but ST's coach K. Armstrong is a name I wouldn't mind seeing replaced next year. I think our ST's play has been unacceptable....
